Cross Haul System - Rope Training

- The cross haul is a type of offset used to move a package out of the fall line. It is a great option to move a package horizontally across a span instead of using a twin tracking line highline and reeving system. It utilizes a main and belay on both sides into a focal point and then simple coordination between both sides to move the package.
This is also a SPRAT Level 2 required skill.

Thank you guys for all the concise and to-the-point videos. The only things I would look at: I teach my students to run one line thru the AHD (vortex) and one line down low, and I know I'm becoming old fogie, but I would back up the rigging plate at the center, perhaps as you mentioned you do when cross-hauling a litter. Thanks again. PS the tower is awesome as well.
