Did anyone else notice the flintstones running cartoon sample? 1:16:08. That was the lamest part of the mix but everything else was EPIC. Very impressed!!! I'll be listening to this on repeat for a long while.
definitely one of my favourite dnb mixes, track selection is sublime and virtually all the transitions are flawless. I really like the ebb of cushty, liquid tunes flowing into some nasty fucking roller, reminds me of lenzman. cant wait to see em live soon!
Man, one of my favorite parts of this set is watching them dig through their cd binder. I still have my giant binder of cds from playing out in the early part of 2010’s. Crazy to think the 1000’s were standard equipment considering everyone is packing the 2000’s today. I love being able to plug in my usb and have a few 100 tracks, but there’s some nostalgic about flipping through your cds and coming across a gem you forgot you had.
Agreed. One step further aswell. I do a lot of intelligent on vinyl and pairing that with new styles is such a joy mainly because it keeps at least part of a more hands-on approach to selection which imho makes it easier for me to pick the right tunes - with all digital it takes me longer to connect and way more effort to keep my sticks to the minimum optimum preselection actually only containing tunes I'd have fun using in a set.

Ok maybe, except that one bit where it suddenly gets louder, and the other where it briefly goes into mono (unless it's my speakers or soundcard lol), but I'm ready to overlook both for all the goodness crammed into this 1 hour and 27 minutes!
Incredible set. Had me bouncing around in my office chair! I definitely hear a mix of different influences and they weaved them together masterfully.. Couple big tunes in there - I really loved it.

1:04:48 my favourite part lol And all-time favourite dnb set! Not one bad song, nothing over-played, every transition smooth like fudge (and delicious like it too!) Ok maybe, except that one bit where it suddenly gets louder, and the other where it briefly goes into mono (unless it's my speakers or soundcard lol), but I'm ready to overlook both for all the goodness crammed into this 1 hour and 27 minutes!

Incredible set. Had me bouncing around in my office chair! I definitely hear a mix of different influences and they weaved them together masterfully.. Couple big tunes in there - I really loved it.
