  • Airbus has announced its order and deliveries for April 2024, extending the gap between itself and Boeing further. American Airlines is adding ten destinations to its route network across the Summer 2024 schedule as it readies to carry 72 million passengers. The first Emirates Airbus A350 has emerged in Toulouse wearing a full livery as the delivery date continues to edge closer.

    The old adage apllies to Airbus in the circumstances of Boeing;
    " When your neighbors house is on fire, water your own"

    51 A321 are probably going to Riyadh Air as they recently placed an order for narrow body aircraft which they did not disclose the type.

    Is there over capacity in the aviation business from 2028 onwards ?
    The Farnborough International Air show will be coming up July 22-26 2024. This will concentrate on Space, Drones and military aviation. Given that the airline manufacturers have filled their order books, will there be more airline sales announced ?

    It is certainly clear that, this is becoming more and more increasing, in Aero-Magazine, these numbers will double to up to two thousand and thirty, twenty thousand aircraft, so this is the factor that expected.

    There's a good chance that the order is from United.
    Basically, Airbus' portfolio is the A350-900 and the A321, especially the latter. Aside from the other issues Boeing has, the biggest one is not replacing the 757.

    DJ! Is there a reason that there are so few A330neos?

    • @Bryan-nx8zt
      @Bryan-nx8zt 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +13

      Most of the A330 CEO‘s are not even 20 years old. So the airlines might want to use the current engine option A330‘s for at least 15-20 years in order for them to buy a new plane. Imagine buying several 200+ million $ planes and then trashing them after a few years.. secondly the bigger brother the A350 makes it hard for the A330 Neo. Also the 787 dreamliner ( which is a hit and cheaper) makes it difficult for the new A330. But in a few years after the CEO A330‘s are used for long enough we might see a rise in A330 NEO sales.

      First. Bryan is spot on.
      In addition, while the Airbus 330-800neo has very few sales, it's essentially a reengined A330-300. It would be a natural replacement for aging A330-300s.

    With a shortage of Jets/Inventory why wouldn’t Boeing take 767s & 757s that are being retired, clean & spruce them up and make available through short term leasing to their inconvenienced customers and begin to recover customer Trust & Faith? Oh, and it would generate a new channel of Revenue for Boeing, something they haven’t seen in awhile.

    The use of the word "struggling" when it comes to Airbus orders - for any aircraft models - is hardly justified given how full their list of orders is.

    Did the A321Neo catching fire in Seattle make the news here? Or is it only Boeing incidents that are worth mentioning. The A321Neo fire burnt through the belly skin below the cockpit with what appeared to be molten metal falling to the ground. You would expect substantial internal damage from the intensity of the heat.

    • @asicdathens

      The power cable connected to the airplane caught fire, not the airplane it self.

      @asicdathens if United Ailines' failure to properly fit a 777 wheel is a Boeing problem, then this is an Airbus one.

    • @asicdathens
      @asicdathens 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@davidcarter4247 The cable was not part of the aircraft. The wheel was. Although it was maintenance issue. The power connector is industry standard and not Airbus specific part.
