    You hit every mark , when it comes to @andis dropping the ball on every release since the cordless renaissance started. I hope they listen to you. Keep it coming, all truths told, opinions valid 😂

      I will say they surprised me. They reached out and said I was right and that they are refocusing on the barber community. It looks like I may be doing some consulting for them now. I highly respect any company that can own there mistakes

    What do you think about the limited edition gold masters vs the black label masters? Which ones have better blade? The gold masters are almost double in price as well

    I really appreciate your well thought out and clear reviews. Its refreshing! Great reviews, and well spoken. I really want to like the original Masters.....I've had two sets, and they just feel redundant.....the Seniors are more versatile and easier to handle. I completely agree that Wahl has done a better job adapting. I'm still a fan of corded clippers, but tend to lean towards Oster. It feels like every clipper has at least one drawback.

    Thanks for this review. I'm currently trying to decide between getting the cordless Masters or the black Revites and putting the Philthy Blends mod on them so I can use them kind of like a cordless master with a different shape and lower speed. I currently use corded masters with the taper blade and one with the phat blade. Hmmmm

      @thewoodshedbarber  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Me personally I enjoy the revites way more they remind me of the speed of fast feeds with some great ergonomics.

    This updated master or the new cordless fast feeds? 🤔 what are you picking up wood shed barber?

    • @thewoodshedbarber
      @thewoodshedbarber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Masters hands down. Better clipper more versatile blade. It was a missed opportunity but not a miss the way Oster did

      Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ they may just be surrounded by Yes Men up there. One things is for sure I’ll always speak my opinion if it’s popular or not.

  • @ryanhill7318
    @ryanhill7318 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    And YES, the Pro alloy was good! Agreed, cordless Pro Alloy would have been excellent. The ergonomics were fantastic.

    So overall would you recommend the masters? There was a lot of information and I may have missed that part.

    • @thewoodshedbarber
      @thewoodshedbarber  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If it’s comfortable in your hand yes, me personally I don’t like the ergonomics but that is a subjective take. It’s a good clipper and in my opinion it has the best blade in the business.

      Thank you I’ve been debating testing out a no guard system with the fade master, fast feed, and phat master set up when they rerelease the phat master blade.

      They are solid. No problems my way. But I do feel they can be improved.

    So spot on the fact that they haven’t released the phat master blade glad I got two but damn done they let blurgaurd come out with a phatmaster blade instead of just giving us what we want!!! Andis an oster had fall all the way off like no reason to even buy anything new from them honestly get a corded gtx an outlier 2 an leave them alone

  • @jovanjubert4046

    They really need to put a levitation motor in it.

  • @MiguelAngel-yg9zx
    @MiguelAngel-yg9zx ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I don’t disagree. I do keep it in my rotation because I love the way that hair crunches like no other. It’s not a bad Clipper. It blends really nice.

    • @thewoodshedbarber
      @thewoodshedbarber  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s a tough thing to argue in my own head. There is 0 wrong with the machine, just something about old world feel of it. The grip feels out of place.

  • @bertynum30
    @bertynum30 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Completely agree on the design with the masters cordless , absolutely love the blade the crunch sound & the fact they cut through anything but the feel of the clipper gets to me ! Its frustrating

    • @thewoodshedbarber
      @thewoodshedbarber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s truly the only real bad thing about it.

    • @bertynum30
      @bertynum30 ปีที่แล้ว

      Big let down , they could have gone different on the design ! Major opportunity lost .
      Oh and love your contents man 😎 big love from the UK 🇬🇧

      @@thewoodshedbarberandis puts the clippers together in the USA but the motors and battery's come from China sane for the trimmers

  • @ryanhill7318
    @ryanhill7318 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Absolutely feelings on Wahl! Good tools.....but Im actually offended by their marketing.....common.....you have roughly 4 clippers.....different lids and names.....doesnt mean you have 20+ different clippers all at price points.

    • @thewoodshedbarber
      @thewoodshedbarber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To me they have been lucky that babyliss and everyone else that’s new used their blade size and whole pattern when creating their brands. And it made Wahl a main stay when they haven’t done anything to earn it.

    If someone could design a third party body for it then one could transfer the guts and blade and use it
