Delighted to listen to this ghazal of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab for the first time ! It's always gratifying to see/ listen to the great Mehdi Hassan Saab while he was performing live ! Infact, the great Khan Saab's interaction with the audience during live performances was a treat to listen ! Sometimes, he used to impart lessons on Hindustani Classical Music to the budding classical singers during such interactions which was very informative ! Oh, what an incredible singer he was ! There will never be another Mehdi Hassan ! Hat's off to him for this beautiful bandish ! Irfan Gabol Saab deserves credit for uploading this rare treat ! ---. raag yaman is also called kalyan it belongs to kalyan थाट in mughal times it used to be called yaman However it is not the same as yaman kalyan ....the notes change

Aiman or yaman is same as rageshree or rageshwari bhupali or bhoop kalyan shivranjani or maalti, Known with various names.
