Love how meticulous you are when it comes to making sure nothing is being damaged 👍🏼. Had this issue with my HR and the defouler didn’t help 😕 changed my test pipes out to Berk HFCs and the light doesn’t come on (unless it’s raining for some reason)

think the best solution to pass the smog check, using Anthony's method, is by the following procedure; BUT, if you have a bad cat problem initially preventing you from passing smog check, keep in mind people, your catalytic converter will eventually need to be replaced to prevent damage to your engine. This is just a temporary method to try to help pass smog.
    1) reset your codes using an obdII
    2) remove o2 sensor#2 (Downstream), after cat and clean it while you are at it.
    3) install adapter
    4) install o2 sensor unto the adapter
    5) run your vehicle for 60 miles or more, depending on your vehicle so you can have all onboard monitors ready for smog check & hopefully your check engine light does not appear.
    6) the day/time of your smog check inpection, run your vehicle for at least 4 to 6 miles or more for a warm up.
    7) remove o2 sensor (wear gloves & work smart as components will be hot)
    8) remove adapter(wear gloves & work smart as components will be hot) as they may visually be inspecting undeneath.
    9) re-install o2 sensor without adapter. ( wear gloves & work smart as components will be hot)
    10) visit your local smog check station & hopefully it will pass without having the adapter during the test/inspection.
    11) good luck people!
    ✌🕶🔧

Chip tuners work and will lean the fuel properly while advancing the timing better than stock programming do not change the upstream sensor its the main one for fuel to air control the downstream is resposible for monitoring the catalytic convertor function and has less to do with air fuel ratio

I have never seen a 02 sensor break loose that easy also if 02 has been on a while that cut out socket will round off the sensor. Your better off with open end wrench. Spray vibrate and work it back and forth most importantly get 02 up to temp first that will help more than spray. Good luck your gonna need it with older cars if you don’t cuss now you will

Anyone watching this. Just know, its a crock of shyt! If you got o2 sensor issues cleaning and installing defoulers for the o2s aint gonna work, im sorry. Just save time headach and the money. Just get it scanned and see what problems persist. If you got cat deletes, you will have to get it tuned to keep it from faults.

This trip will not work. It will get the light out temporary get you through omissions that’s all after 10 to 12,000 miles. The light will come back on I know because I’ve done it I drill the one and put the other one on so I put two of them on there. I tried the aftermarket with the small whole miniature cat that does not work either send code tones back after 10 to 12,000 miles, you’re going to have to deal with this situation

Good video but wow, dont need to know how to remove sensor, how to clean it, what kind of cleaner, what kind of wrench, how to hold the wire, just how to install defouler! 9 minutes removing and cleaning, 1 minute on install. But thanks.
