There were a few pins that I liked, but I try to stay away from dated pins , dangles and damaged pins. I once had some actual water damage to some of my pins and I was unable to remove the rust that was embedded in the pin enamel. Nick you have a good eye when it comes to pins, I have seen some of your other buys that you have posted on your channel amazing buys, this buy is not one of my favorites but I know you will hard to pull out the pins you will keep, sell the ones to pay for your purchase and trade up the pins that are tradeable. I always enjoy watching your guys channel and to see your pin trading adventures. It would be nice to see an updated video to see if you were able to clean up some of your pins and what you tried. Thanks for the post enjoyed watching
There's a lot of folks that have hacks to clean them. I think the pin doctor posted something on Instagram a while back. If you are successful at cleaning them you should definitely do a video on how you managed it. I know others, myself included would love to see it.
I found out from another pin collector on here, you might know her, disneypintopia, that you can actually replace the batteries on the lightup and sound pins. It's not too difficult to do, and you do need to take into account how rusted or corroded it is. But it is definitely possible to do so. I have a few light up pins that I might try to fix one day.
Dear lord I have so many of these, and now YOU have them! I have the intact version of the 100 Years of Magic pin, and I have the Hatter Hat, but I actually have it in the original Hatbox it came in. That's part of a set of hatbox pins, you also have Peter Pan, and I noticed the Robin Hood hat in a video today when you walked around the Boardwalk. I also have that darkwing duck 1991 pin, the great mouse detective pin with Basil on the gear in the clocktower. This collection is WILD. I would be SO happy to have so many complete sets, and then use others to trade up for new pins
It's always great to watch your videos, I love the way you talk about the pins, both by mentioning their individual value but also by being personal, when you keep a pin just because you like the look of it. I was wondering if you could do a throwback episode where you talk about the story behind how you've managed to become able to buy and sell pins for several thousands today - like, was this your goal when you started your channel? Did you invest a lot of money in pins when you started that you were afraid that you wouldn't be able to earn back from trades or sales? Did you work with other types of social media before? And also, do you feel like you would be able to branch out and make other types of videos in the future if you wanted to? Take care, and cheers again for your videos!
Hey there, new subscriber just trying to make my way to some of your older videos. OMG!! So many amazing pins. Do you still have any of those pins that are in your traders. Or did you sell the off. I'm coming to Orlando soon and would really love to look at your pins. I am following you on IG.😊
Ahh we have the robin hood musical moments pin is it suppose to have a musical part of the back? we also have a Rescuers one and a buzz that used to light but and we would love to be able to change the battery. This is such an amazing collection 😍
Try some CLR cleaner, should be able to find at any household/hardware supply store. Its specifically made for cleaning calcium lime and rust, i think it was probably the batteries that leaked in to the bag. Try diluting it so its not too strong.
This is weird but works for me. I get a small cup of ketchup. Soak the pins for about 10 minutes. Rub a cloth on them and then rinse in water to remove the smell. Then dry well and set on a towel
Idk why but your videos always get soo little likes. I have seen your videos from 2 year ago and it only has 200 something likes. Channels like MSA which I like in the first 1 minute already have 1k like😢

She also suggests a specific coin cleaner to help with the rust, but I don’t remember what it’s called!
I love the old fast pass pins! Makes me feel so nostalgic!

I also would love a video like this ^^
I love that Pluto with the ball at 3:41
All the pins are so beautiful!
Can’t sleep so what am I doing? Binging your pin collection hauls 😂. Love you guys.
Oh I loooooove these videos!! Always feels like a lesson in Disney-Pin-History haha
Disney pintopia just posted a short or story about what they use to clean up their pins. Works wonders
That’s good to know! Thanks!
Love that Canda pin!!
I love Nicks comment “who would want a pin to commemorate the worst day of the year”.
I did a short on cleaning a pin...It's simple and requires just 3 ingredients. Works best with hot water I forgot to add :)
Great tip!
Omg one of those Pooh Santas is from "Yugoslavia" xD I love that, defs a keeper
Try using 99% rubbing alcohol that will help take that gunk off 😂 I would freak out getting this many cool pins at once
Home Sweet Home pin = Cross Stitch embroidery look :D
I also NEED that Epcot illuminations pin! If you’re selling or trading Let me know! ❤

So were you able to clean any of them up?

That blue car was Susie The Little Blue Coupe, I love that!
That’s good to know, thanks!!
@@pincessshannon You’re welcome ☺️

That’s a good tip thank you!!
Omg there was some that I need for my pluto collection!!
All of those pins are so cool. Where did you find them?
They saw our previous videos and knew we buy pin collections so they messaged me on instagram!
I carefully clean with a magic eraser but you have to be really gentle.
The way Shannon drags Nick for mispronouncing Nanna 🤣🤣🤣
I've heard from some people that the magic eraser is pretty good for cleaning pins
Must have the missed the birdie Donald ❤
I love Plutos I have pages full but I have never seen that Pluto locker if you guys are down to trade at all I can send you pics of my pins
This is weird but works for me. I get a small cup of ketchup. Soak the pins for about 10 minutes. Rub a cloth on them and then rinse in water to remove the smell. Then dry well and set on a towel
Wondering if I could send you pictures of my collection, and see what I could get for them
I have a collection of about 300 something, a little bit of everything
Awesome we’d love to see them! DM me on instagram @PincessShannon
Would you guys sell the Maleficent and Evil Queen pin?!
The maleficent one we are going to hold onto but Nick should have the evil queen in one if his instagram sales @NicksPinShop
Try a microfiber cloth so it won’t scratch. Also a magic eraser might work
That’s a good idea we’ll have to try!
$2200 For pins???? Too steep 4 my blood 😮 Good Picks up !!!
