My son passed nine years ago this March, my mother three years ago in March and my sister twenty-eight years ago in March. I've always hated that month. I snickered a bit at the title, but Father spoke to my heart when you showed the view of the window and spoke of how it sounded like March. He asked me if I could welcome that month instead of dreading it listening to the chicks, could I find the beauty and could I be grateful. Thank you.

Also having some first flowers in the garden. btw.. was I just wondering why your chickens only have such a small piece of land to walk on? You have a pretty big garden right? They would love to wonder around some more, explore and stretch their legs. Chickens actually need that for their health as well. Did you know that? 💜
They actually have a bigger space then it looks in the videos. We used to do free ranging but they devoured every plant on the hillside and it caused erosion issues. They eat everything down to the root. Also, they are safer in a fenced area
I limit my dairy intake to mostly goat and sheep in small amounts, but if I'm going to do cows milk I aim for raw A2 casein. I use raw milk to make my butter in spring and summer.
