Ladies and Gentleman this is Hip Hop music - Great rapper, good lyrics, good beat and what a sample... remember sampling jazz, funk and soul tunes......... Not auto tuning!!!
@@ElectricSoulShow I feel you, we got to keep in mind though that old school hip-hop isn't going anywhere at least imo. I am confident that to this day it is still influencing many artists and fans of old school hip-hop and even those who don't even listen to rap. I think, no I truly believe old school hip-hop isn't going anywhere anytime soon but will rather be around for many years to come and 10x harder.
Heard this for firsr time mid-march 2023 and DIS SH!T i'll be banging all 2023. The lady with dat sweet, sensual, melodic, harmony voicing got me up in da clouds!
I love this song so fuckin much! Such good memories. Walking to work in the morning for construction. God man it was hard work but it's such great memories that made me into the man I am. Peace to all!🤙🏻
jamal horsley Maybe , Summer Jam 95 was a hit in Japan but Im not sure this guy would have known about them being from America being this was released a year after SDP.
@@OfficeHanchoBoxing they probably both sampled Montara in similar ways. Just like Royal Flush and Madlib sampled the same song in very similar ways as well
Chase _ThoooYT - It needs people like you who actually make this music to keep on making this style of Hip-Hop Music going. Don't listen to anyone - this is the style of Hip-Hop Music people want to hear! I am really a record buyer and Dj Podcaster/Radio show presenter myself. I will be honest with you. The 1980s was/is the greatest decade for music releases overall. The only other decade that can match it was the - 1960s. But leaving that aside for underground dance music of Hip-Hop and House music - their greatest Decade was the 1990s, even though both of them were created in the 1980s. Both music's Hip-hop and House music reached perfection/Zenith states in the years of1990s... What a time it was if you lived in the 1990s if you loved = Hip-Hop music or House music. I will lastly add this - the city of London, could match or even better any city on earth in the 1990s - when it came to playing or partying to either Hip-Hop Music or House music - from the numerous Pirate radio stations that were available, to the numerous Underground ground clubs. We will never see that "PASSION" for this music that we witnessed in the 1990s - for either for the music that is HipHop music or House music. Just to prove a point - the Night Club called "Ministry of Sound" - was built directly from "Fresh" for the people of London, UK to dance all night and to the early hours of h morning - Just for House music...in the 1991
it’s unfortunate really. good rap certainly exists nowadays, high quality rap, but it’s all about a small venn diagram of stuff. rappers in the 90s had so much to say, pent up talent.
This is just by far one of the best rap songs I've ever heard no matter what genre rap it is
