Xerjoff is a tricky house to navigate in my opinion. I’ve sampled many and only own very few. Many times the note combinations sound amazing but the fragrance does not come across as you would expect. Amazing quality and presentation regardless.
Him not loving doesn't mean its not blind buy worthy, his PERSONAL taste might be quite specific/niche, while blind buy worthy means its a safe smell that everyone would probably like/not regret the blind buy
