Never thought there was a different cutscene if done stealthfully. The one I got is where Batari shot Takkar with a flaming arrow instead of hidding by hangin on the edge.

This took me 50 attempts on my second playthrough if the game. This guy does it this quick in survival mode. I know he practices but still damn
That's how you increase your gameplay dexterity is with a survival mode and ranking it on the highest difficulty

As i said yesterday , here is the full mission "The Mask of Krati " .
We can start with something positive this time. As some of you may know i was heavily complaining about the second part of the city of pain mission in far cry 4 for being a hardcore clusterfuck regardless of your approach on the first part of the mission. Seems that ubisoft have at least learned something and you are now free to work your way trough this mission in the way you want. It´s now up to you if you, again, end up in a hardcore clusterfuck or if you work your way smartly through the whole mission. The cutscene and the start of the second part of the mission is directly affected by your aproach. Great job.
Unfortunately thats the only positive thing about this particular mission. If you want to get an idea about how broken this game is just go ahead and play that mission
In far cry primal you can light up arrows, spears and clubs to illuminate your surrounding area like when entering dark caves right at the start which i wanted to do. So far so good, but it looks pretty stupid when you then jump into the water and the surrounding area in the water is still illuminated, burning fire, under water, you get it ubisoft? Also does anyone agree with me that the swimming in far cry 4 and far cry primal feels so shit compared to far cry 3? After the "fast swim state" is gone you basically have to press your sprint key every two seconds to maintain the normal swim speed where in far cry 3 after the fast swim speed state jason just continued to swim in normal speed which was perfect. Nothing broken, just a shit mechanic which needs to be changed.
First real bullshit comes right at the first enemy. If you do a regular takedown on him you get notably dragged to the right side together with him, during the takedown, i mean what the fuck? This bullshit happens on quite some enemies. Needless to say that this shit looks absolutely retarded. Next crap is right at the enemy after that. He is conveniently placed at a ledge you can approach from below, obviously for a takedown from below which i would have loved to do since its one of the takedowns you rarely get a chance to do. Didnt happen tho, the prompt on this one is so small that you often aint able to trigger it. Even when spamming the takedown button below that edge it often wont work. This is something that any half decent testplayer would figure out within minutes when test playing this level which makes me wonder if there is any test playing happening at all on the ubisoft side. I mean there is so much weird shit going on in this game, they cant be satisfied with that.
For example the amount of shit you are colliding with in that game. Like with every fucking edge or stone in the ground and even with killed enemies. Extremely horrible when doing takedowns on heavies, especially takedowns from above. When you are sprinting right after you have killed them you collide with them and the only way to work around this is circling around their "collision zone" with strafe and mouse movement right after you killed them instead of just walking straight forward. Looks pretty idiotic at times. Lets translate this into other games to see how realy shitty this is : In Dishonored this would mean that some bloodthirsties, like the second 5 man bloodthirsty on the regent assassination couldnt have been done since i couldnt reach the second watch officer i slashed since i would collide with the enemy i killed before him. Couldnt even reach him with blink since blink is more or less a very fast forward sprint and within blink you of course also collide with objects you can collide with. So much fucking weird shit going on in primal ........
Like in the cutscene, enemies get teleported right in front of you just to disapear again a second later and the most retarded thing are that the hitboxes get completly fucked after the cutscene. Shard headshots dont work anymore which i literally never fail on and even fucking headshots with the spear which is pretty much the strongest weapon often glitch out. Because of that i had to use more takedowns then i would like to have used and i couldnt even do the last part like i wanted to do because the shard headshot doesnt work at all on the sunwalker standing to the left of the heavy. He doesnt even have a fucking headarmor in the back of his head and i cant get a headshot on him, he just gets hit instead of killed even with my crosshair locked 100 % on his head, tested it multiple times. Now things get really weird because when i reload the checkpoint ( which is right after the cutscene ) i hit my shots constantly just like when liberating outposts or something but reloading checkpoints is obviously no option for these kind of singletake videos.
And again there is absolute shit enemy placements in the second part. The first part was at least somewhat decent but the second part especially the very top floor and the floor below it, you basically run right into enemies facing at the only routes you can take and unless you havent played it before your stealth approach will get fucked on expert with the high detection meter instantly. I obviosuly studied this mission, i know the enemy locations and the exact timing to get some triggers working for me so i can slip past a few enemys but not everyone knows that sort of shit.
Boy oh boy, all this lack of gamesense and even the lack of just test playing that shit makes me really worry about the future of the far cry franchise ..... I mean i can take and deal with a lot of shit but at some point its enough and iam done with it .....

I agree! I played it on my friends PS4. This level was the worst. I tried to make some headshots but no the hitboxes didn't worked right. That was the only readon I got detected to often... I hope the next far cry will be a good one again.

It is different. I went in and fucked the entire place up, no stealth and when I took the mask she came and choked me or something and they you knock her over and you have to escape

Why this game never got the attention it deserved, I won’t know. You can tame beasts, liberate outposts, and build villages. Let’s not forget how intriguing the moving system is and also the weapon and distraction systems are. This games should be praised.

TheSauerkraut you might need to unlock a skill with skill points that does more damage to the head. I don't know exactly what it's called but it's most likely in karoosh's or takkar's skill menu
