Best to have on a notepad or such in the office. Good practice to leave accessible. You never know when something unfortunate might happen and somebody else has to figure out your animal situation. Kenan is very responsible at the very least the TH-cam videos are well kept history if he doesn’t already
I love the snake-necked turtles' googly eyes! That last one was holding out on you Kenan!I love these work-a-day videos,as they give you a real idea of all the work that's required to keep a kamp as large as Kenan's running well.A+🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️🐊🐊🐊
Lol you searching for those little snake necks was so funny. Like a needle in a haystack. They are definitely interesting looking , I love turtles so much , they are all adorable ❤️🐢
I had a collet snake that I thought escaped a vision enclosure. It wasn’t a good feeling. But it was on top of the ledge above the slider but i looked everywhere and had to put a venom defender glove on to take everything out . I took all of the substrate out before I found her
I would have loved helping you in the turtle pond - I am a 78 year old female from the UK and my all time favourite pastime is cleaning out ponds - love the work you do and your love of reptiles - I like them all but of course Slinky is the king - would love a cuddle with him - keep on doing what you do - love from the UK
I have a blue tub with 5 musk turtles in it and some of them I will never see unless I go looking. During the winter my pond plants died off and I had an algae bloom and didn't physically see my snapping turtle for 3 months. As soon as I started rooting around in there though I uncovered him from the sand and leaf litter as healthy as ever. Often times, leaving untamed animals to their own devices is the best thing for them.
Hi Kenyan Thanks for showing the monitors in those very nice vision enclosures. LJ would like to bite you again if he had the chance. The other monitor is very pretty, and much calmer than LJ. Did you give him a name yet? That little baby turtle was cute. Thanks for the update on the snake neck turtles. That tub looks very nice, like a little habitat. You like playing in the muck looking for the turtles. It took a while, they can sure hide well. I am glad that you found all seven of them. They are a lot bigger now, and so healthy. ❤🐢Cindy
I am so happy about the snake neck turtles... I was just thinking of them yesterday while rewatching your video where you discovered their skin problems. Obviously they have been thriving in the organic muck at the bottom of that tub ! And L.J. seems like a Black Dragon who, when grown, might just be able to deal with Inky's level of feistiness ! Thanks for this Sunday Treat !
Good times Kenan, I was kinda wondering why we havent seen a Kenan/Chandler collab since Fred passed? Hope you guys are still in good terms. Those videos were so fun.
He’s made videos explaining how he doesn’t like how people get animals just for The views and it sounded like he was referring to chandler in the video
(ANSI level 2-5) cut resistant gloves will help during the baby stage when trying to handle baby monitors. Did my hands a world of wonders and saved my fingers from the biting until my monitors got used to me.
Pine needles acidify the soil beneath pine trees and can also lower the ph of pond water. I don’t know how severely the levels are affected as the needles decompose or if low ph, acidic water could be detrimental to baby snake-neck species. You may want to cover the tub(s) with a mesh frame to keep the pine needles and also predators (raccoons etc) out.
I love footing around ponds and lakes as long as there aren’t water moccasins around. My childhood around lakes was 75% looking for moccasins and 25% catching critters 😂
💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢 love playing in the baby turtle ponds natural eco system mud leaves bugs fish i have a few turtle ponds and tubs i love doing the same love how fast your side necks have grown amazing job dude ..epic videos
LJ and unnamed Guru monitor = "The Blues Brothers." Jake and Elwood. Figures "Jake" would be the one that would bite! He's a samurai (John Belusi) of many occupations!
Because of my sensory issues, I wouldn’t be able to help much with cleaning the pond, I don’t think. But if the interaction with the animals was fulfilling enough, I might be able to tolerate it (maybe I could use gloves or something so that I wouldn’t be touching the slime directly).
@20:18 "Dude, we don't take pizza deliveries to this tub! "Besides, we don't even like pizza! You wanna bug the Chinese box turtles. They eat anything!"
Hey! I realy wish i could keep turtles the way you can in Florida. And for the question if i would like "mucking around" it would be near the deam job to be hnest! Just hope the threat from the goverment about abolishing many of those animals can be solved in a good way for you guys. Best wishes from Sweden!
Kenan I love your videos and I know your going to do what your gonna do BUT… those enclosures for the baby monitors look too big..they need to feel secure and a big cage can make them feel exposed. I know Kevin from NERD as well and he says to put them in a 30 inch cage at first..I recently got a black dragon and mine was doing the same thing at first but I just took Kevin’s advice and held it for brief periods and built threads of trust ..didn’t give it any hiding spots so it could see me at all times and let it know I wasn’t gonna hurt it and literally on the 1st week of me having it we became like best friends lol they don’t usually just calm down on their own. If they are never handled most of the time they will be like that into adult hood. Ask Kevin, he knows..If you never held Slinky and he just calmed down by himself then he is just a one of a kind. I have 3 normal monitors and one black dragon and have never been bit because I just followed what Kevin does
Kenan man you can't ask a question in the thumb nail and then answer the question in the intro man! 😂 You gotta have them wanting to see the answer at the end of the video.
Unfortunately Lobo went for Sophia, I think they were playing, but Kenan And Kate made the decision that the dog couldn't be kept on the camp with children about. 😢😢😢
My honest feeling about the snake necks -- KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE SNAPPING TURTLES and more aggressive species! I have a bad feeling they may suffer around the other turtles that are known to bite...
putting a critter count by each enclosure could be a good idea
Why? It’s not like it’s accessible to the public and he doesn’t need to remind himself how many animals he has every time he walks by😂
@@DevinMcSalty Because he mentions in the video that he often forgets how many he introduces.

Thanks for your videos. I’m new to your channel. I saw a snake turtle at my local zoo. This is great medicine for me. Sending prayers love and hugs.
Yay! I was just thinking about the babies and how they were doing. Thanks for sharing the update!
I agree about not bothering young critters much, certainly at first. Awesome video. Thanks...
Oh how I've been waiting for this video!! Let's go!!!
Those water tubs seem to defeat the purpose of a vision cage LOL
Good to see how the teeny turtles are doing
The enclosures need plants to make them feel more secure 🪴🪴🪴🪴
Them baby snake necks look awesome - the habitat is great, they must love it in there.
Sure seems so!
I teach worm farming and composting to kids, my hands are always in muck. This would be a treat for me to look for these little guys
U r such a fun person and a wonderful spirit, thanks for sharing with us. 😊👍
It’s cool that you love mucking around in that pond, I have to say I wouldn’t love it. Have a great day Kenan. 😊
I love how they run, they do look like they are running in a cartoon lol🦎
We gotta get Jerry hooked up with some redfoots!!!

Inky is really getting Big !! Very obvious from that pov!
I agree. Sometimes the best thing to do is to let them do their thing.
Hi kamp kenan, im from Indonesia, i love to see an update sieben rocky growth that fast wowww
You're so PERSISTENT It pays off in the end! Hide and Go Seek with Snake Head Turtles! 🐢🐢🐢
The snake necks are beasts now! Man they grew! 🐢🐢 I couldn’t get in the pond I’d need those waiter fisherman overall things lol 😂 you’re brave lol
Great update BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
had to revisit after yesterday’s video, I’m fascinated by them 👍💯🖖

Haha they are growing and doing great. Amazing how hard it is to find them.
I would definitely climb around in the muck and do that Turtle job!❤

I am interested in getting one of your cherryheads, but don't know how to get a hold of you.
Super interesting species snakeheads are, their heads kind of always turned into one or another side😂
I agree with the critter counter but instead of on the enclosure maybe a file on your phone in notepad and just update it accordingly
Don't work too hard, Kenan. Be well.
What is the email to get one of the tortoise

There was more drama and suspense in this episode than in any episode of Murder She Wrote that I ever saw.
Side necks are rad

Awesome vid. How much are the baby salcattas?
My need to clean is making me want to scrub down all the mud and leaves/pine straw out of that tub 😂😂
I watch this video every time I clean my turtle pond haha 😅❤
I always get confused. I hear from so many people say to don't have hiding spots for baby monitors

Great video Kenan! Once the snake necks get bigger, will they live in your main pond? 🐢
I have no problem with muck, as long as there are turtles to fine 😁
I wood love it known there turtles in there
I know you said you like to let the critters do their things, but maybe you could take some tips from Kevin lol let them get use to human touch sooner

You should name the guru Houdini
HOW LARGE DO THEY GET?
i nominate Irving as a name
Name that GuRu .." paul" 😂😂😂
Should name the nameless baby lizard beetlejuice
Give them smaller water bowls
Also, how about "Goro" for the guru?? 😅
What's Goro from?
