    This diet works not just for weight loss, but for metabolic health.

    Start with a high protein high fat breakfast like bacon and eggs/sausage/steak etc salmon, avocado. You wont be hungry for hours and wont have sugar cravings

    She looks miles better in just one month. I've just started a modified version of this diet, for metabolic health, rather than weight loss. The reduction in 'motions' is glossed a bit; trust me, you will need lots of Brussels, broccoli, and cauliflower! Personally though, I have to have a serving of something starchy to sleep.

    HOW did this happen to tens of millions of people? Someone needs to figure this out. If it were a tiny percent, 3 to 5%, then I'd believe it was self-control. When it's 25 to 40% of all people in a country, then something else is going on.

    "Theres alot of cooking involved" and THERE we have the cause for a lot of peoples weight issues but I wouldnt go so far to say LAZY though. Lots of people dont want to cook or dont like so they choose crappier options for food and deal with the results

    How can you have an Italian diet without pasta or polenta? I thought that was illegal.

    • @HammerheadGuitar
      @HammerheadGuitar 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pasta is usually eaten as an appetizer, next to that most pasta outside of Italy is made from just wheat instead of wheat and eggs.

      Today's wheat is different, it's very hybridized. Also, most pasta in most regions of Italy isn't made with eggs.

    J'ai commencé il y a deux mois : perte de 4 kgs. Le plus difficile est d'oublier les gâteaux et les glaces en pleine canicule... Mais bon le principal est de continuer et de faire du sport 🙏🙂

    She consumed less(less carbs) and moved more, it ain't rocket science, but actual science.

      probably quite a lot, since all the sugar was gone. as before this diet she was probably overfed but undernourished

    • @1967davidfitness

      But how many calories did she eat?

    • @spgtenor
      @spgtenor 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly. And what was that avocado doing in her hand.Not part of the Italian diet!

    • @1967davidfitness
      @1967davidfitness 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The diet is about healthy wholefoods, avocadoes are great for a Mediterranean diet.

      David J The first line is "based on the lifestyle of the Pioppi village" so regardless of whether avocados are healthy, it is not part of their diet. My friend lives very close to that region and misses guacamole and Mexican food in general. They do consume quite a bit of refined pasta and bread though. Where is that on her table?

    Another mediocre fad diet that had some success due to it being lower carb, and higher in saturated animal fats (also cholesterol). She could have had even better results on a Ketogenic Diet. Doctors refuse to advise people that they should eat what their ancestors ate for maximum health benefits and not just weight loss results. This lady's ancestors did not eat avocado or lentils, those are foods from Meso America and the Mediterranean, respectively. Apparently, lettuce was first cultivated by the Egyptians. She would do much better if she ate like her great, great, grandparents, or better yet, if she emulated the diet of her Paleolithic ancestors from that region of the world.

      See my previous comment. If we based decisions on some random saying "it works" we'd never find the truth in anything.

      Its not a " fad" diet that's the whole point. It's based on a traditional long term diet that historically has created people with a very high life expectancy. You've COMPLETELY missed the whole reason to do it.

      So Keto is prepared according to regionally available foods only?
