The old crackling whips from the 90s were a lot louder and were like 3 feet in length. My friends used to light them and swing them in circles over their heads like a lasso. Sad to see how watered down fireworks are anymore.
A comment... Cody one thing I appreciate about all of your videos thus far is the attention to safety and responsibility you display in all of your videos. I think it's important to show you can enjoy the hobby and be safe. Keep up the great job.
I'll tell you why I DO buy the Little Green Crackling Balls every time, not that I wouldn't get the Boiling Pots though. The little guys are best shot out of a wrist rocket, or sling shot into the air. The only trick is to have a friend light it while you hold everything and launch it at about 1/2 fuse burnt so it goes at the top of what curve you can launch it at.
During the Fire Crackling Max portion of the video, all I could hear were the Goblin Sappers from the original Warcraft game. "We've got explosives!" "KABOOOM!!" "Ooohh, it's beautiful..."
I think what you do is great but I think you can get the full beauty if you was a distance and the you can see the fullness of your great creation and creativity keep up the amazing work
Sometimes I take leftovers of some fun, weird fireworks for example a little car that shoots out sparkles and I would use my other fireworks to mess around with that and put it on and watch it go off. It’s pretty interesting. Maybe you should try it.
4:57 omg its literally echoing in my ears lol. I had those last year it has a diff name here but I meant to do it as a quick one in the back yard since my grandma was in bed, it lasted forever lol
5:10 you know how people stuff steel wool into a whisk, light it, and spin it around their heads to make a wheel of sparks? Imagine doing it with a few of these crackling pots
How loud is BAM BAM compared to something like the finale of s**** m** or the pyroland snowballs? I might be able to get one this year and want to make sure I find the right place to light it. Cans are way louder than the BAM BAM double shot, but they are fun for the day.
Love your videos, sir 🎉 I have a recommendation to aid your reviews, I think I saw it one time, and you should bring back the Decibel meter to show the max decibel for each firework based on the standard distance for enjoyment 😁 just a thought. Thank you for all your in-depth firework videos 🙏
Cody where did you find the ground blooms with report?? I have a couple left from the 2010’s but I’ve been looking for them for years now and can’t find any whatsoever
Be carful CodyB with the m80s and m1000s that don’t blow up I lit one one time and it never went off and literally a hour later I kicked it to move it out the way and it exploded lol FAIR WARNING ⚠️ LOL 😂
@CodyBPyrotechnics You should look into getting a decibel tester or reader whatever they're called to compare how loud some of the reports are I would be very interested in seeing that!
Those 'max' matts are like watered down mini version of a Chinese cracker roll. Those bigger bangers before the box are common throughout those Chinese rolls with the bomb being packed with them.
Those 2 inch fire crackers were pretty cool… I could not tell any difference between the regular crackers and the bigger ones near the boxes. Maybe it just doesn’t come across on the microphone??
Love the episodes. One complaint, saying that they are loud and as you move away from them...they become a whisper. Please, leave a microphone near the crackers, can hear them rather than you saying the whispers are very loud.
Wow, those regular magic whips were terrible... Usually they're a good deal louder. Somebody went for the cheapest option possible. For a headbomb effect, I like to leave 1000ct rolls rolled up, and just pull off a couple inches of strip. It gets real intense, real fast!!! Also, I quickly get tired of long strips going Bang! Pop! Snap! for several minutes. RRRRROOOOAR!!!!!! is much more satisfying!
@@BubbaPyro99 I suppose if they’re tough on firearms too, it makes more sense. But you get my drift. It seems a little excessive in any case. But then a lot that they do makes little sense. In the U.K. you used to get little fw’s called *Jumping Jacks* which were like a length of straw packed with whatever they pack em with, and folded-up to make a lot of little firecrackers out of a single length. They would crack and jump around a little. Just like the kind of thing Cody has on here. They been banned for decades. Yet big, loud canister-shells and rockets are fine. I know, coz my neighbour used to fire them over the roof of my home. They would shake old cast-iron the window frames. Of course, little to no private firearms over here.
Best thing to do is to wait a few more years 3 is probably a good age for things like pop it’s snakes sparklers party poppers and other stuff like that

Almost June. Means time to binge firework videos & watch demo videos of my fireworks before the 4th. 💀
The only time I'm jealous of not being American.
Yes sir starting to make demos it's the season finally
Yeah it's time
@@DN-jm2xg I feel you. Love the 4th of July. Our country needs work but it won’t stop me from going crazy 🧨
I started early I usually start on Memorial Day
The best dad on the fourth of July is the one with pockets full of fire crackers and the knowledge of every small novelty firework haha:)
I love how he’s like “it isn’t that loud” when if it doesn’t temporarily deafen you, it isn’t loud enough for Cody😂😂
In the early 1970’s M80’s were the craze. They were loud and could blow up stuff.
That shot of the sun is so nice 7:02 it looks like a person with their arm sticking out with the clouds underneath it
Glad you noticed I thought the same haha 😂

I take the crackling ball casing apart and pour all the other ball fillings in one. Its spectacular!
On the Fire crackling Max 1 The ribbon was supposed to be hung on on a rod or stick so the firecrackers could pop upwards than it being on the floor
Had to chuckle at the "20 years" lament. I've been putting flame to fuse for 64 years! You damn kids get off my lawn!!!!
I salute you sir 🫡
What if they bear fireworks?
@@chesterbrown9257 come on in - but don't overstay your welcome. Damn kids....

Everyone has to love Cody for his fireworks agree

Great fireworks, big firecrackers, too 👍👍

I could watch fireworks emitting smoke rings for hours. Those strips are cool.
In the 808 we have paperless firecrackers. It's like a string of the pellets in 2 lines just like the strings if whips you demonstrated.
This Jedi is so funny. 😂
Almost the best time of the year 😈
Gotta say I get all my firework knowledge from CodyB🔥
"The force is strong with this one!"
In California we don’t have aerials and we do have the magic whips and the cracking balls and the ground blooms
Those crackling barrels only last 30 seconds in the fire 🔥 and it is freaking awesome 👍
9:50 See that white string? You're supposed to hang them from a tree at the farm.
4:57 omg its literally echoing in my ears lol. I had those last year it has a diff name here but I meant to do it as a quick one in the back yard since my grandma was in bed, it lasted forever lol
Great video Cody! Those magic whips are really awesome! In my country we use the small ones as fuse and make our own strip with firecrackers.
Were my eyes decieving me, or did those long crackling strips throw out color stars, too?? Cool!
loved the way you tried to make the 12 ft. cracker hurry up .Im now your biggest fan and telling all my friends about you
what is the max amount of flashpowder that can be in a firecracker in US ? in Belgium, its max 2g
Crackling Balls used to have a little punch to them, sad that they changed them so they don't anymore
5:10 you know how people stuff steel wool into a whisk, light it, and spin it around their heads to make a wheel of sparks? Imagine doing it with a few of these crackling pots
Thanks for sharing these Cody.
The mini dynamite work under water. The used to make colored ones.
5:20 5:29 5:31 5:38 🎉 thank 💩 you
Does flashing still make those ground blooms
No strings of Black Cats?
Black Cats, Mighty Mites, water dynamite, and Magic Whip were my childhood standards.

Ribbon says don’t talk during fireworks going off!
A magic whip connected to a fuse of artillery shells 🤔for time to get back before liftoff
yall see the smoke ring on the firecracker max 1s at 16:53 😂

Where can one buy a thunder king in 2024?
Usually at family owned firework tents and stores. Nobody is going to say exactly where but theyre not as hard to find as people make it seem.
