Great video! I have a question. Why do mechanics always hang the bike in the stand by the seat post? Dropper up and clamp on the post? This seems like it may damage the post? What is the benefit of that method over clamping it on the top tube? Thanks!
Unless your primary way of storing the bike is in a stand on the dropper, it has no effect. Just make sure the stand has a rubber interface, if its not then put a shop rag around the stanchion before clamping.
As a regular mechanic myself i agree with the chain part, been replacing my chain every 3to4 months and I'm still on the same 12 spd XT cassette i bought back in second half of 2019 Really doesn't take too long to wipe off access and get your chain checked for wear with a chain checker

He didn't mean greasing the threads on a bolt, but rather the flat, contact surface, which you have at the linkage, shock, wheel axle, etc. Of course you put locktite only on the threaded surface. Although there are some cases where locktite is not needed, than you put grease on the thread, but that is rare.

Top tube is usually carbon. Carbon does not like to be clamped
