Makes me remember the days of getting lost in practicing and performing and the great self discipline it taught me. I learned this when I was 10... so much fun watching you go through it. I dropped piano long ago but I sorely miss it. My favorite parts of your videos are the little moments playing a few notes over and over and over again to get the muscle memory - I remember that used to annoy my parents so much! I played this piece so many times it is the only piece where the muscle memory just hasn't gone away... sometimes when I'm bored in a meeting I play the fingerings from the middle section on the table in front of me. People are like "what are you doing?" I'm like "playing Mozart!"

This piece was one of my all time favorite pieces back in the day and the first major #Mozart piece I learned
(when I was not aware how simple music is actually very tough to play well! )
I love how your ornaments are so crisp and beautiful, and the way you practice it is very instructive for me.
I like how most of Mozart's pieces are so cheerful and bright, although I do like the more melancholy side of some of his music too. I feel that Mozart's sense of aesthetic is pure like that of a mathematician loving his equations.
Even though I've played this before, I could definitely use better fingering in order to resurrect this pieces from the vaults of my memory!!!

I recently discovered your channel. I especially like your 1 min, 10 min 1hour challenges. It is fascinating watching you work and also seeing how you advance helps understand the piece better. If I may, I would like to suggest Asturias by Isaac Albéniz for a future challenge. You may have heard it played on the guitar, but it was originally written for piano. Best wishes.

I always find it incredible with enough practice and with the right fingering, particularly in music such as #Mozart due to the many fiddly runs, how you can get into a headspace where you feel as if you are dancing over the keys and just watching anyone play that is beautiful :D

I don't want to ruin it for you, but she has absolutely played all of the pieces on her channel before. She's fibbing about sight reading them. It's not even about her ability - as a classical pianist, there is absolutely no way she has gone her whole life without playing 90% of the content on her channel. They are all required learning for someone of her level.

I've never performed Mozart, but I did study the first movement of this sonata. I did learn more appreciation of Mozart from those few weeks than I ever did simply listening to him. It's like a constant flow of ideas tumbling over your fingers, each trying to be heard before the next. And yes for Henle scores; if they have it, that's the best choice.

#Mozart is one of my favorite composers of all time. I really like the he manages to surprise you with his music, the way that he magically combines joyfulness with pure tragedy is really unique to him. I can agree that the simple appearance of his music hides a very deep, almost prophetic moments, especially in the minor key pieces that he wrote. :)
