One of the best carts for the handheld Evercade experience. Not all cart games collections are suited to the handheld experience but this one suits the handheld Evercade pretty much perfectly.
This cart is basically every good first party game on the entire system it’s the better of the two collections without question Crystal Mines is maybe the only game from the other collection that’s worth it.
Can I say that I appreciate your ability to have some retro-skewing to your reviews? I don't know how many youtubers Ive watched that complain about graphics or the gameplay of a game from 1989. They don't get the magic of the limitations from the 80's/90's. But you sir, you get it.
I've already pre-ordered the Indie Game Heroes Collection and Worms Collection, so I'll be looking forward to whenever those come out. I'll also try to get the Codemasters Collection once it goes up on pre-order. Also, I really like that you've listened to feedback about the transitions in your videos and made them far less obnoxious. It makes them much easier to watch now!
Tight quality on Lynx 2 vs Lynx 1 then but possibly about equal on good/greats. Just more filler on 1. After two years I’ve finally picked up this cart and pretty much agree with everything in the review.
I'm hoping we get a Lynx Collection 3 that includes some of the out-of-print newer homebrew games like Alpine Games or Zaku; I've always wanted to try those but have never been able to because they're not being sold anymore and the devs don't seem interested in releasing downloadable versions

Yeah, California Games came with my Lynx at least. Pretty underwhelming for a bundle game if you ask me.
