    Looks like your anchoring with the arrow nock at cheek hight drop your anchor to your jaw dont know nock point specs but you may need 1/8 to 1/4 above center to help with clearance issue

    unless you have a rest that can support feathers and vanes you only ever shoot feathers from a recurve bow the answer is because vanes are not forgiving like feathers and get kicked alot both up and sideways so get proper arrows and but a supported rest that can shoot both ..

    I think you could also consider adding an peep eliminator (centershot or magnum) rear site to your bow. It works with your front site. Nice fast straight shot. Thanks 😊

    This is soooo weird...
    I have just bought the EXACT same bow and didn't find any reviews on it before I decided to take a chance and buy it. I wondered if a sight would fit on it and would've probably just taken a chance on that too and end up buying the wrong sight, but now I know for sure and I know exactly what kind of sight to look for
    Thank you so so much!! 😁😁

      Where did you order It from and how much you paid? Seen Many people buy It from Amazon for around $100, but you could get it for very very cheap from China. My dad got it for less than $30 shippings included. Amazon dropshippers are making huge profit :D

    Yea, I recently bought two of these sights, one in Camo, and one in Black for a PSE Nova Riser, that I converted into an ILF Recurve Bow. I was disappointed as well, the sight pins are hard to see, and I was only able to utilize one pin as well. The housing is too large for some Risers, and the sight elevation bar is not long enough, if you are shooting three fingers under, like I do. It was designed really for people, who shoot split finger. I'm sorry to say this, but for your bows small Riser, you would do better with an old school three pin recurve sight, with just a simple metal bracket, that screws on to your Top Archery Riser!

    Why not eliminate the squeeze between sight and arrow , by just shooting off the rest plate with felt to rest arrow on ?

    That sight has the potential to work well on that bow.

  • @rentonlive
    @rentonlive 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I had the same problem. Can't get it to sit low enough. I wonder if a peep sight on the string combined with this might align it.

  • @lamardaniels6625

    Will this fit on my PSE Recurve bow?... it does not have holes on the plastic

  • @nakoawarrior3186
    @nakoawarrior3186 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Put a peep sight on your string.
    The Top pin is 10 yards and sometimes 20 yards too depends on what poundage your bow is.
    The second pin is usually 20 yards.
    The Bottom pin is 30 yards.
    If that's not the way it is China didn't drill the riser right.
    Personally I prefer a 3 piece bow only if the riser is wood because it's lighter.
    There is aluminum that's heavy and Magnesium that's light.
    If the riser was Magnesium it would be an ok bow.
    I think your over thinking that sight.
    I was the same way with the pendulum it was the opposite of the normal sighting.
    I would love to buy a 3 piece bow,.... but only if I hold it in my hand first.
    If it says 55# draw weight that's what is should be so I'd test the poundage.
    The Chinese bows I bought I sent back 43#-47# ain't what I ordered.

    Your dog friend stole the show😂 . Try a lower face nocking point...that will allow all the other pins to be used.

      Thank you for your concern, but even though he may seem goofy at times I assure you he is a trained profesional that works around and alongside many different weapon systems. Having him around while practicing with the bow is part of his familiarization with that weapon system.

    Just decided to give this setup a try with a borrowed Olympic recurve that I've shot a few times barebow.
    As has been pointed out, the arrow rest needed sorting out but it took me one arrow to realise that if its going to work I'd have to change my anchor point to something more along the lines of an Olympic recurve archer and anchor under my chin, thus giving some instant elevation.
    It feels very odd to be anchoring that low after years of using my cheek bone (mostly shoot 2 under barebow compound) but it seems to work, I'm a bit high with the top pin at 15yds, I'll hit the range tomorrow, then the 3ds once I've got sight marks to 50.
    One thing, does anybody know if theres a standard distance between the plunger hole and the bottom bolt hole for the sight? Maybe some bows are tighter than others?
    Hope your arrows are flying straight fella.
