Mazda Mx5 NC Door Speaker Upgrade

I decided to replace the original speakers in the doors of my Mazda Mx5 NC, because at a certain volume, music sounded distorted with the original speakers. I ordered Pioneer speakers, bought clips for the door panels, foam sound dampening, and took on the job. The car sounds so much better now, it was definitely worth it!

Hope you enjoy your new speakers, but I wouldn't use foam sound deadening in the doors as they will keep the moisture from condensation/rain. You should replace them with butyl-based ones.

Loved the videos of your Miata mods. Maybe small tip, put in a link where you bought the components ( exhaust, speaker, etc) helps and maybe even some vendors will help you in the future. Keep up these videos 👍👍

Hey, nice that you appreciate it! And this is for non Bose system, I believe the speakers in the doors for the Bose system are round.
