this, BeamNG, and spin tires would make the ultimate driving game and or simulator, deform-able landscapes through traction along with soft-body physics in a game designed like this could re-invent modern racing, especially a worthwhile destruction derby or twisted metalesque. screw forza and dirt, i'm more than willing to invest in this.

they should use this kind of wreckage in ETS2 so it´s more damage realistic :)
This game engine is very similar to Carmageddon: Reincarnation, but on steroids. It took a while for the car to reconstruct but that's because a lot of it got tore so shreds. Great minds think alike. Looks like a very fun tech demo.

Can`t help myself but all I see is a developer version of Flatout. The damage model is quite better than Flatout thou. But thats about it.
It has potential and good car games are never old. Get some inspiration from GTA, RedLynx Trials and such, then apply that dynamical movement here and see what you get. This is too stiff and console like.
If they don`t work on really good car handling and performance including decent sounds then I cannot see myself even considering a purchase. Not hating, just saying.

I bought the game, the steam install allows cockpit and bonnet view. But the tech demo doesn't.
