I really liked this watch. The coloring is really nice. I’m more a turtle guy than a tuna guy (except on toasted rye with mayo) but I’d buy this one. Solid review.
I let this one go because it never got wrist time …..I think mostly because I am a bracelet guy. It wears so small and comfortable I always toy with picking up one of the new color-ways. I had a turtle as well that I nodded, and as much as I liked the turtle the steel dive is cheaper and wears and looks almost identical. Glad you enjoyed the review. Really trying to find time for my moonswatch review 😳
Upon long term reflection - I think it’s only flaw, and this is really about my preference, is the case color. It makes it so I can’t put a bracelet on it. I primarily wear watches with bracelets. I just find them more comfortable. But everything else about this watch is great and the JDM version is so cool.
I love the grey dial especially because the lume is white. Only went for the tan because nearly all of my watches are black/ grey/ white dial and I wanted to switch it up.

I walked into the jewellers wearing a Rolex and was so impressed with this watch ,it feels awesome on the wrist. I brought it in grey there and then and cannot stop looking at it! How crazy is that!
Would you say that it’s worth it for the price ($500) and I’m comparing it to the older srp turtles which also had mineral crystal and the same movements which were around $300
I would say for $400 absolutely. Build quality is excellent, wrist feel is great- way under what you would expect for the actual dimensions. The lume is amazing! The real disappointment for the price is the movement. It’s the standard nh35 essentially. Still a solid buy.

Yes, this is ISO certified. Great piece I've got the gray one srpe31k1.

Mine shipped from Seiya in the square box.
It’s such a great watch
Do you find that the khaki color Barton strap matches the tan on the bezel/dial?
It’s lighter then the dial / bezel but so is the stock strap. I have since moved it to a black Barton and like it much more.

What store did you get it from?
One of the big Japanese online retailers. I honestly can’t remember the name at this point. Sorry
£500 watch and it comes in an egg carton, no effort at all from Seiko.
Seiko’s qc and packaging is always sub par
Too small for big guy
Well good news they make a larger version! They do a 53mm and it’s Titanium so is lightweight!
@@rightwristonly8796 They are on market with limited quantity.
