2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 VS Alto 800 | Differences explained in Hindi | Times Drive

- The Alto has been an household name in India for over two decades. It has been a major driving factor Maruti Suzuki's success in the country. It has also been the top selling car of the year in India several times. Maruti Suzuki has always had a grip on the market trends and in 2010 it introduced the Alto K10 for Alto customers who were seeking more out of their car. Then in 2014 Maruti Suzuki introduced the second generation of Alto K10 in India and today Maruti Suzuki has launched the third generation of the Alto K10. In an interview to Times Drive a senior Maruti Suzuki official stated that in the world of SUVs entry level hatchbacks still constitute a significant part of their sales and he also stated that nearly 40 percent of the car sales today still hatchbacks. Will this newly launched 2022 Alto K10 be able to carry the torch for Maruti Suzuki?

Overall a good review but I want to point some things out.
He said that Alto 800 VXi hasn't got charging port but it has (In the audio player itself).
In power figures, refinement & bigger tyres & wheelbase (so definitely better comfort) K10 wins hands down.
It's boot space is 214ltr vs 800's 177ltr.
& K10 got steering mounted controls too with a speedo that tells us instant milege etc.
Btw they've removed tachometer which was present in last gen K10 & that's a bummer specially for new manual variant drivers as it helps them a lot.
Overall interior design is far better in Alto 800 as it's dual tone.
He chose 800's VXI to compare it with K10's VXI Plus to maybe shift you more towards K10 cause 800 VXi Plus also have this same touchscreen.
Alto K10 has also hasn't got glass rear quarter panel like in 800 as they used black plastic to hinder the outside view to probably save some cash.
I didn't like the lights design on newer model specially tail lights & feels 800 got better designed ones.
I've got 800 BS6 VXI that's why I can confidently tell you all this.
& It'll be definitely better to go for S Preasso or if you can go bit higher than Tiago or their own ignis are one segment above cars.
So choose wisely as they've pulled off a Chinese smartphone launch trick here where you got daily new phones with more or less same config but new names😀

Alto k10 that was firstly launch is the best. I don't understand whats wrong with Maruti to change the looks of the car when its so beautiful. I think Maruti also need a taste of Boycott.

@@roktoprobal9505 they are in the process of phasing out old alto 800. Next mostly old ignis will also be phased out and a new ignis variant will be launched
