- This story is adressing the actions of certain trainspotters/railfans, in which one in Nebraska intentionally derailed a train for views. Many trainspotters come to Sodor for to see the many trains that live on the island. However, there are some bad apples among the trainspotters, which they attemps dangerous things such as climbing signal poles for a better view. This day, a teenager who was underpeforming on Social Media was determined to get more views and clout, so visited the Cement Works where Fergus works to get a filming permit. Although Fergus sticks by his motto of 'Do it Right' and always is keen to correct the teenager, he could not possibly predict what he would do next, and cause him to come off the rails, all for views. All for a Social Media post....all for clout....but not the way to do it....

That's a very good story. It carries an important message about safety when filming trains at any place. Poor Fergus, being derailed was unexpected.
Just because it's out in the open doesn't mean you get to touch it. Railroad equipment is not your property.

Hmmm! Indeed! I caught a train from Weston Super Mare! And there was some problems with intruders at Temple Meads - in Bristol which delayed the train by almost 10 minutes. I got home fairly late! Hmm! Thick ear situation I think! Being popular is not wise. I think that the young man was very stupid.

This is to remind us to record videos of Trains from a safe distance from the rails. Trains are big and powerful vehicles. As Dave Hood said in There Goes a Train, playing around railroad tracks is not only against the law but extremely dangerous.
Reminds me of some of the dumbasses you see when railtours go through.
I honestly wish they had more Thomas episodes focusing on being safe and mindful when trainspotting.
There's one incident I know of that'd be ideal for this sort of video; one where a couple thought having their kids stand on a footpath over an active railway line for a photoshoot was a good idea. One of the kids was in a pram! How stupid can people get?

I have to agree. The certain TH-camr that I think you mentioned got charged by BNSF with a 3rd degree feloby and since he is near adulthood; he can be tried and convicted as a adult. Also great video as always.
I bet that the teenager could learn his lesson about the safety of the railway when people film trains appropriately and how not to be so stupid and blind. I don't know why many people always break the rules and regulations and always disobey them. This is why railroaders never trust idiotic people who trespass on railroad property and sabotage. Their actions and behaviors potentially could kill or injure someone on the train and that's a no-no. They thought it was a good idea and doing the right thing to do, but no. They're all wrong. This is why we are never trusted by some idiotic people who are trying to pull their stupid stunts like this.
