@JosephGallagher it's a 10 way switch. Usual strat tones but position 6 is the Bridge and middle in series, 7 is all pickups, 8 is neck and bridge in series, 8 is neck and bridge in series, 9 is neck and bridge in parallel and 10 is the neck and middle in series. There are different ways you can wire them though so that positions 6-10 work differently Definitely a mod worth checking out.
Love the Tonerider Birmingham HH set in my TE-20 HH SBK. Now I have a Fusion-III 25th Anniversary HSS with the Telsa set. But if I upgrade them I would go to Tonerider for sure.
I've just bought a soloking strat hss in natural ash finish! It's got locking tuners that are solid,a rosewood one piece neck, stainless steel frets, and has a coil split.i am really pleased with it with the of the pickups they seem really dark especially the humbucker !!! So i will take your advice and get the toneriders you recommend. I live in Thailand at the moment and didn't want to spend a lot the guitar cost me 200 quid just ridiculous!!! I went into Bangkok to buy a fender player that was 680 quid and they wouldn't give me a gig bag ??? So i told them b....x can you believe it??? So i got the soloking and other than the pickups it's better honestly. Keep up the good work I enjoy your vids cheers 😁
I’ve been playing guitar for 3 years and in that time I’ve owned 10 guitars but there’s something that I love about fenders/ Stratocasters over the other guitars, I currently have a Gibson les Paul that I’ve just bought that is at least 5 times the price of my strat and I find myself always playing the stratocaster, I like the slimmer neck a lot more and to me when I play it it feels a lot better to play because the neck feels fast and comfortable and I love the sound more
Those seem great mods, I was stunned by the fact that I can't seem to find aftermarked or stock sadels in any store, there are not much to choose from when you want to buy locally or via a national webshop....really frustrating
A Freeway 10-way switch is one that I consider a must for my Strats. So many great tones out of it.
WHAT?

Never heard about that mod before
The quality on this channel is insane for the sub count
Thanks a lot mate. A monumental amount of work and money goes into this channel so hopefully it’ll pick up
Thanks really different stuff then every other video out there. I’m getting an old Strat ready for a tour.

Thanks for the video.
Is there a guide on how to nitro it ? I just got a black fender strat but it’s kind of drab and boring

Nice color and texture
Have you tried the Tonerider City Limits pickups and if so what are your thoughts?
22 lbs tuners!!! are they for heavy metal?
Did you need to change the pots to work with the new humbucker Also are the locking tuners staggered like the s7 love the videos

I've watched a few videos about people saying these locking tuners not being very good...
I’ve had them multiple times and I’ve had no issues. They definitely hold up.
Heck yeah daddio
I pretty much do the similar mods on my Mexican Strat. Makes a big difference overall
