Integrity is in short supply, especially amongst 'influencers' who confuse their popularity with authority and lose all sense of self-awareness the bigger they get. Keep up the great work Kevin, you're one of the good ones.
Kevin is the real deal. What may not translate is how nice/funny he is. What you see on social media is what you get in person. If you ever have a chance to attend his classes, don’t hesitate.
Respect for not saying anything negative about folks you used to work with or anyone else. Thank you also for answering a variety of questions. These are always educational.
To be honest, I looked forward to your content more than anyone at your last place of work. When I realized you were gone, so too went the compass of integrity. You're an awesome human being. I look forward to any content you put out.
Greetings from Greece🇬🇷!Most down to earth instructor with tons of experience yet so humble. I enjoyed your videos on your previous job! Still waiting for your basha shelter video.. 👍
GOOD MAN! You are a breath of fresh air in a world that complicates for profit. Success is integrity and good character and being able to lay down at night with a clear heart, it's not necessarily the numbers.........You were always my favorite at FCS. I would love to train with you. Are you considering training closer the west coast? Enjoy Ireland !🤙
We appreciate your shared insight, Kevin. Staff at your previous job came across online as positive and transparent, so surely you understand that your fans are just curious about the sudden shift and vague explanations. Many of us would not have known you if it weren't for your previous employer.
I truly enjoy how honest you are. I can only speak for myself, adopting some of the things you talk about has changed my life for the better. One day I will get the chance to meet you and thank you in person. You are a true wealth of information. Stay safe out there!
Great stuff as always Kevin. I remember back in the Ranger Wing as there was some problem with the KH 53, four of us were issued over a thousand rounds and had to fire the weapon in all sorts of modes, bursts, full auto, sideways etc. We literally couldn't hear each other speak by the time we got back to the Curragh. After that, we decided that we would have to buy our own ear protection, just like we had to buy our own Gortex boots and rain gear. Reall good point as well, about the importance of mental stamina.
Greetings from Co. Antrim. 🙂👍 I only do the indoor archery over here so all the rest is vicarious knowledge. Keep up with non toxic content as it's really appreciated.
Taken Kevin's Long Range class twice. Outstanding. Jump on it if you get the chance. Tons of information, all skill levels. Will take it again when he comes back to VA. Informative and fun. You wont regret it.
I am looking forward to seeing what you do on your visit to Ireland. Your subscribers may find Kilmainham jail interesting since it played such a big part in the war of Independence. Glasnevin Cemetery is also interesting, and right beside the Grave Diggers Pub should you decide to have that pint. Maybe the Curragh too?
Kev is the realest dude in this space. Down to earth, yet engaging as hell to listen to. Keep doing what you do Kevin! Ps: would love to see you and Fred from counting coup tactical sit down for a podcast.
You don't toot your own horn, you don't have your own brass band. I think that is a far better and genuine way to be. Going home to visit family, that's pretty cool. Hope you have an awesome visit.
The more I listen to your advice and opinions (Kevin and Kirsten), the more impressed I am . Keep up the good work...and although you may not toot your own horn little bit, I bet your students sure do.
Kevin, Enjoy all of your content. Edited or not it is always informative. I am not going to blow smoke up your a** by telling you what a great guy you are, like a lot of comments. You do not know me. As stated I do enjoy your content, keep it up when possible. Would enjoy meeting you, I think. You know what they say about meeting people that you admire. Keep up the good work, and always look forward to new content.
Kevin have you ever thought about doing a course in Ireland. There are a few ranges that you could use but maybe its just too restrictive?. Do you think its possible to learn alot about shooting with a .22
Hey Kevin, thank you for continuing to put out super informative videos. Just watched an old Kestrel video of yours the other day and learned a ton. Any chance you could do a video on wind calls? I haven't seen much out there.
Didn’t even know you left the other place. Good for you. Man deployments get you all lost in the sauce. Looking forward to when you come out to the north east. Would like to take a course
Man, you're the real deal and I really hope some day I get to train with you. I just took my first training class in quite a long time on Saturday. The instructor was a Vietnam vet dealing with the side effects of agent orange. Night and day difference between that guy and the training bros on instagram that you referenced who want to drag each other down. Still, he had a lot of experience both in actual combat and other high stress emergency situations because he spent a lot of time as a firefighter. I'm glad I took the class and it made me want to take some more. Edit: I do have a question though and its a pretty easy one if you can find the time--whats a good chrono that won't break the bank? Doesn't have to be the cheapest one, I just don't need the latest and greatest. I'd like to get one though.
Both are exceptional but very expensive, if you're at that level they might be a good investment but if you're starting out there is nothing wrong with a good optic from Vortex or similar
Let me mention that former Navy Seal Stew Smith has published a series of books on physical training designed to prepare you for entering the service, or for getting to that next level.. I have a couple.of his books, they are not expensive. They are good resource if you don't have a personal trainer.
Suggestions for you and your followers regarding places to visit in Ireland, 1st off, DUBLIN worth a day visit to tick that box but it is overpriced and gobe very rough and dirty, a lot of crime and immigration issues so homeless and begging are an issue. The same is true for most cities here. A lot of hotels are being used to house refugees so supply has been reduced. Hire a car and base yourself down the country and day trip. "Cahir" is a lovely town and very central in the south, "Sligo" is a good town to base for the Northwest. Hope this helps
For the record, im Irish, i live here and it breaks my heart to have to admit that the country is getting this way and i dont want visitors to be put off coming here but the country has lost its charm in the last 5 years and the government seem happy to let that trend continue. Still worth a visit if anybody wants advice feel free to ask me
I've always wanted to be in the military, but I'm too stupid apparently, even though I thought I was smart. I'll keep on top of the fitness anyway. You never know.
I hope you and mike glover are in good terms man, I did enjoy your podcasts together and seemed you guys are tight/brothers having served in war. All the best to both of you ❤
Old sandbag here again. Man, earpro - whats's that? Joined in '77 with the No4 and Bren, then the FN and GPMG/M249......first issue of earpro was 1991. What's that you're sayin, sonny? Tinnitus at 4/10 on the carrier wave radio scale.... hssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss........

I genuinely cannot believe how lucky we are to have people like this with so much knowledge just at our fingertips

Kudos for staying above the petty bs.
Of all my years of the army and policing, you are one of the most solid instructors ive ever been to. No b.s., no ego, just train and learn! Perfect!
Thank you so much

Kevin You have an amazing skillset but what makes you so special is your integrity I am looking forward to training with you
Really stoked I found K.O.'s channel after his prior gig. You bring such depth of knowledge and great attitude.

Interesting 🤔, please share ya overall opinions about anti-material rifles like the Barrett M82/M107 ones?
M107 is devastating in the hands of a trained sniper
Come up to Donegal for pints!

You should look up Eldon Bargewell. I’m surprised you haven’t heard of him! Not someone to joke about.
I don’t need to look him up, I have no interest
