also the live session of Judgement and Punishment would be a good one. plus the growl is from the false vocal folds, not your regular vocal chords if you do it correctly. otherwise you can seriously kill your cords permanently. there is a technique to it to learn.
Tah-tee-ah-nah. 😊 As a 39-year-old single mom who’s been into metal since I was a pre-teen, I’m happy you’re experiencing Jinjer. I’ve kept up with metal all my life, but Jinjer straight up shocked me. I had never heard anything close to it (Straight Line Stitch and The Agonist was the closest; but more recently, Spiritbox). It is her. There’s some vocal layering, which is also her. They’re also better live. And to be honest, this song is mild in terms of what they can do. Enjoy your Jinjer journey. Subbed! 🤘🏻
If you haven't checked them out yet, definitely look into Vintersea. Vocalist Avienne is amazing, and has similar ability to transition from beautiful vocals to screams effortlessly. The band's 2nd album "Illuminated" is excellent.

I look at last years and this years Grammy nominations and what a joke. Jinjer smokes all of these bands and not just that how in the hell is Poppy nominated for best metal performance? Poppy isn't metal and isn't even close to metal. Poppy is an alternative musician whose main style is pop music. If Poppy is to be nominated for anything it should have been in the Grammys alternative music category and not metal. Not surprised that the Grammys can't get this correct considering that folk rock artist, Jethro Toll was the first winner for best metal performance. This shouldn't be a surprise that Jinjer wasn't even considered for a best metal performance in either 2019 or 2020 with their latest record. Hell great bands of 3 plus decades like Opeth and great musicians of 3 plus decades like Devin Townsend have never gotten a Grammy nomination or was ever even considered for a Grammy nomination.
@@midnight-2021 I'm thankful for this year because it led to me discovering Body Count, and also Ghost in 2015. They sometimes hit it on the spot, but for the most part Grammies are just a bunch of dogshit.
Welcome to the world of Jinjer, Sir. This song is just the entrance level, they only get better with each song you’ll hear. Thank you and look forward to next one. 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
First time I heard this song and Jinjer in my life, her voice took me from the honeymoon to divorce court in a split second. Scared the shit out of me first. Went from denial to dumbfounded. She is now my spirit animal. Love Tatiana.
Ah, I love it when folks sense the trap, and then are caught by the trap within the trap. I've seen them twice on stage and they are very very real. There is a lot of editing to this though, the vocals here are right off the album, the "live session" was to record their new drummer. If you want to do a quick reality check, watch the Live at Wacken version of Pisces - the only thing she doesn't do live is the belting section which she seems to need an extra second or so to switch into belting from a growl and has said she's afraid she'd screw that part up if she did it live so she just growls it. Metal, jazz, and blues happen to be kinda the core of Jinjer's sound, with some reggae and rap sprinkled in occasionally to make things even more interesting. Technically, growling shouldn't hurt ones' singing ability. Fry screams are more complex, but false cord growls like hers aren't done with the vocal cords at all, but with the false vocal cords aka vestibular folds. Realistically, it is really easy to hurt oneself though because trying to make that sound even accidentally with the vocal cords will injure them. But as knowledge of the technique has advanced, vocalists have learned to do the growls without damaging their clean singing voices in the process, and Tatiana isn't all that unique, just exceptional. The crazy part though is that Tatiana taught herself, just leveraging what she could research on the internet and her own intuitions about her voice. And she is constantly growing in skill both in her cleans and her growls even after doing this professionally for over a decade - she had a few months of training on cleans in school and is entirely self-taught with growls. The guys are Roman on guitar, Eugene on bass, and Vlad on drums. They used to have a second guitarist who left to do acting - Ukraine is a tough place to make it as a band, so only those who couldn't bear to do anything else with their lives made it. Eugene and Roman trade off lead roles, and Eugene uses the 5-string bass to add extra mid-range sound to supplement Roman on guitar to mitigate the loss of the second guitarist. Vlad is the only classically trained musician, as a pianist, and also plays guitar well enough to have a Gojira guitar cover on YT. Vlad was the most recent member to join the band - they have been through more drummers than Spinal Tap haha. Roman joined in 2009 and recruited Tati who had been in another band with him when their original singer was leaving later that year. Eugene joined in 2011 and is also their manager. For your next step, I'd recommend any of their concert performances. This band has been touring constantly since 2014 when they became refugees from the war in eastern Ukraine that would have stopped them from touring at all. With their bridges burned they went all in building their success with an ever-escalating tour schedule. They did 152 shows last year, while recording a full length album in between tours - this year they are taking a wee break though. They are very experienced live and arguably better on stage than in the studio. I'd suggest specifically Who Is Gonna Be The One official live to see some great guitar work with Roman and Eugene dueling between their guitar and bass, and to see how low Tatiana can go with her growls in one of their rawest recordings that still has great sound quality. But you can't go wrong with anything they have ever done live, or their official videos either. There are even quite a few bootlegs out there I could recommend. To see what some other women are doing mixing cleans and growls, I'd recommend Spiritbox's song Blessed Be, Ad Infinitum's song "Marching On Versailles" and Arch Enemy's song "Reason To Believe." Those are all official videos, but are quite representative of the cleans and growls I've seen from them in live performances, but they don't have as many concert videos out there as Jinjer does - at least of that song in AE's case, since AE's style is primarily focused on just growling but their new singer came from a band where she did both. Plenty more, those are just the ones that I like best. One where I'd recommend a live video as the starting point is Otep's "Ghost Flowers" off the confrontation live DVD. To check out a guy doing both beastly growls and angelic cleans (a bit at the end haha) check out Alex Terrible's cover of "Lonely Day" by System Of A Down - "Demolisher" by his band Slaughter To Prevail is a pretty popular reaction too but is all growls, the part where he growls without the mic is amplified in the official video but the tone is legitimate from bootlegs.
@@OldSkuleNerd well, I'm a tad bit obsessed by Jinjer. If you told me 5 years ago that I'd be a fanboy of any band, I'd have thought you were crazy but these guys are something special. Most people ask the same question you did. For my part when I first saw this I just did a deep dive watching their concert videos and old bootlegs until I was satisfied she was real but reactors can't really do that. So I've researched a bunch about growling vocals and try to provide some context. And I like your appreciation of the musicianship of the rest of the band so I might have gone a bit overboard haha.
@Bloviator Magnus On one hand, Tatiana trying to pretend she isn't that important is just silly. She is incredibly key to Jinjer's sound and live performance. But it is absolutely a team effort. Without Roman stuffing enough riffs for 3 songs in everything the write, Eugene's fucking amazing bass work, and the epic drumming they've somehow managed to maintain with every drummer they've had - though Vlad is the best, it just wouldn't be the same. Keep in mind are that the sound of each song is actually lead by the guys doing the instrumental composition. Tatiana weaves her vocal composition into the musical composition the guys create. The songs where the instrumental composition is weaker, the vocals are less dynamic too. There are bands where it is really all about the lead singer, In This Moment, for example as one I really enjoy. The Fighter could have not a single bit of music and I'd still love it, and any of their songs I feel like the music is just a vehicle to bring out the best in whatever vocals Maria Brink has created. As much as I love Tatiana's vocals, I never feel like that with Jinjer songs, because that just isn't the way their songs grow. It creates a very balanaced composition because yeah the guys are leading the composition, but it is clear they are also very mindful that they are creating a platform that Tatiana will be building on, and yeah as singer her vocals are the focus, but it is still way more complex than to say that their songs are all about her.
@@j.f.fisher5318 I remember seeing this video back in 2017 and I thought it was awesome but also thought it was probably just a gimmick thing and didn't look into their other music at the time. I was not into harsh vocals at all (up until rediscovering them through reaction videos 1.5 years ago, and thus learning to love it 😁) and if I had, I don't think I would have become the fan I am today. I kinda fell in love with their newer material first, Perennial, Teacher Teacher and later On The Top, Judgement (& Punishment) and so on, as they were released leading up to Macro. It was only later that my passion for all their pervious work started to grow as well. I see the whole band as sort of a symbiosis. The fact that those particular people are working together (not to forget their former members), creates the complete experience that is their music. Tatiana, gifted as she is with regards both songwriting, vocal composition and execution, would probably not be where she is today, had it not been for the rest of the band members and their ability to create such complex and dynamic musical compositions and manage to combine vastly different elements in unconventional ways that for some reason, just works. Likewise, it is (IMO) unlikely that Eugene, Roman and Vlad would have the drive to make these awesome compositions if they didn't have a vocalist capable of performing to them and write lyrics for them. They are like the perfect example of what happens when the right talent, with the right mindset and work ethichs, come together to pursue their common passion. And for that, I am also a bit obsessed by them.
@@PiercedBrosmen to me the ultimate proof of what you say is their weaker material. Not that it's bad, but I can't for example listen to Noah on repeat and not get tired of it, whereas I could listen to most of their songs over and over and still be digging it. And while there is interesting complexity and interesting choices made in Noah, the music simply isn't as brilliant as many other pieces, and for all her talent, Tatiana can't rescue it on her own. Then again, if I heard her do it live with a bit more practice, I might change my mind. On the other end of things, to me J&P has some of my (top 3) favorite lyrics and vocals Tati has ever done, yet somehow my favorite part of that piece is the musical composition. And my favorite song by any band WIBTO, I'd still love it for it's connection to my personal journey, but the Alive in Melbourne version has Eugene too low in the mix and the dueling guitar and bass doesn't work right which really deflates the song.
It's nice you're noticing the full band since so many fixate on Tatiana! All 4 are amazing in their own right! IF you think this is vocal switch up from verse to chorus is insane, you really need to listen to more Jinjer! In more than a few songs she goes from scream to clean in the same sentence. Another of the most reacted to videos ever is Nightwish "Ghost Love Score" (Live at Wacken 2013). Nightwish is another huuuuge rabbit hole to go down. The song is the Symphonic Metal epic, but the band goes from more ethereal symphonic to chunky and hard hitting to the occasional full on jazz track.
@@OldSkuleNerd Ghost Love Score, Live at Wakken 2013 is the one to watch. And when you do, keep in mind that Floor (the vocalist) isn't even an official member of the band yet during that show. She's technically just filling in after they had to fire their previous vocalist. Yet the chemistry is phenomenal. Also worth checking out is an earlier performance in Buonos Aries. There are moments in that performance where you can see the band realizing that this singer is what they've needed all along.
I'm not a musician and have seen a fair few reaction vids to this song now but always noticed the drummer (having played Tabla as a kid percussion always hits home for me) and the band overall. They're exceptional to listen to. As he said, their music tells a tale. I think this song is perfect to react to just because it throws so many off and is a lovely balance overall.
Out of all the reactions I've seen to this song, I think yours is my favorite. You're not a vocalist, not a musician, just a fucking hardcore fan of metal from back in the day. And you had WAY more insight than any of the pros who watched this video. You immediately caught details like the way the drum kit is set up and the guitar brand, and you also understood how incredibly impressive her vocal capacity is, AND how insanely talented and technically skilled the entire band is. Fucking subscribed OSN. You're a total badass.
@@randywissler9923yeah I found out after I made that comment and felt kinda bad lol. But he doesn't present his content as coming from a musician at least ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Trev81 it's all good brotha. You should check out his reactions to El Estepario Siberiano, arguably the best drummer out right now. Dude is a freak. OSN drum knowledge really shines through on those videos.
I'm in the same boat as you. I'm an old timer (48) and had been out of metal for 5 years, tripping at the hippie festival scene when I first heard these guys in February. When I did, my metal pendulum instantly swung completely back full force. Jinjer makes up probably 50% of what I listen to. As for the other 50%, the more intense the better. The people who told you that metal has evolved and is so much better today than it used to be are 100% correct. The genre and its' 58,194 subgenres serve to add so much flavor than what you and I grew up on. Jinjer is the best I've heard in 25 years, and as for Tatiana, she is literally the best vocalist I have ever heard. Pisces barely scratches the surface of just how good they are. Perennial live at Wacken is almost always chapter 2 on this journey, and it is a very long one. As for a lot of the other metal artists today, I do not know if you will like diving into the extreme Deathcore or Thall that is being put out these days, but the musicianship of much of it is far beyond what you and I were familiar with, and you may soon find your metal pendulum swung over just as far as mine is. Metal today is something that it wasn't for several years. FUN!!! SUBBING
There is a modicum of post production, however you're correct, Tatiana is the most incredible vocal talent. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Enjoy the ride.
what i really like about your reaction is, that you're one of the very few who acknowledges the crazy level of the band as a whole. It's not only Tati, they are artists altogether. thumbs up
I remember going to listen to the studio version, cause so many people were talking about this song. I thought 'Oh, a nice low-voiced lady and a screamo guy. Cool.' It wasn't until I actually watched the video that I realized both voices came from the same person. XD
It's the " she doesn't have the power like adele" for me right before hell breaks loose 😂 But jokes aside your love for music and attention to detail is inspiring. Amazing reaction!
Dude! You have no idea the ride you're about to go on! Hang on tight and enjoy. Perennial live at Wacken, Teacher! Teacher! official video, I Speak Astronomy, Who's Gonna be the One etc. etc.. Have fun!
Dude, love it. I'm right there with you. An old guy (60) who has discovered this band. My son, who is 19, went to a Disturbed show together and Jinjer opened. I can tell you it is her voice. Ironically, on her singing voice the were some minor, very minor effects done. Doubling, echo, etc., but on her "growl" it is all her. Everybody, who can speak has vocal chords and false vocal cords or folds. Tatiana is one of the few that has absolute control over both. This allows her to do that "growl" without hurting that lovely singing voice. It's amazing to hear, and the fact that she can go back and forth without a problem is sooooooooooooo amazing!!!
Your facial expressions are me driving down country roads, 100%! 10:45: nice, corner coming up, yeah :D It is going to be a pleasure to drive through! 10:46: _oncoming traffic cutting in my lane by at least _*_HALF_*_ a car_ ...developing the surprised, partially freaked out look like a fish with a giraffe on it’s shoulder... Listen to some of their live stuff! Perennial is a classic. But Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev or Retrospection live from Melbourne are two of my personal favorites. Cheers hope too see more.
OSN.....Just went back 11 months later and watched this again....................Still the BEST reaction on all of the TH-cams. And the beginning of something great.
Hey mate, like yourself I’m 46 and an old school metal and punk head. It’s been years since a band has blown me away like jinjer has. You’ve only just scratched the surface on how amazing they are, keep going I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed. Welcome to the jinjer family. New sub from Australia 🇦🇺🤟
This might be my favourite reaction to Jinjer so far. I've seen about 50 or so of them. You figured out so much stuff and you seem so knowledgable. PLEASE react to Jinjer's Judgement (& Punishment) - One Take Vocal. It came out not long ago. It's incredible IMHO. You won't regret it! :)
I have recently found Jinjer myself and am hooked on reaction vids. You remind me of myself and the thoughts I had. This whole ensemble is….. breathtaking. I haven’t been this impressed by a band since the 90s. They are right up there with Floyd and Pantera in my list.
There is some layering to add depth in this vid, but it's all her vocals. One of their live concert videos should be up next. Perennial live at Wacken is a good mix of both styles or Sit Stay Roll Over live in Melbourne is a heavier song. You really can't go wrong with any of their official live videos, they all have good audio quality.
Sit Stay Roll Over has some of her fastest switching both ways, and she goes lower in one section of her growls in that than she does here. Perennial is such a good live video that it has totally overshadowed the excellent concert video.
@@j.f.fisher5318 I think it's cool that they released the whole concert vid from Alive in Melbourne, but I wish they would have done stand alone videos for I Speak Astronomy and Captain Clock. They are the best live recordings I've heard of either song.
@@IdiotPosterBoy lol, the most obvious part where you can hear it is the second chorus with the higher pitched scream and deeper growl overlayed. It's definitely her making both though.
I still come back to this video once awhile, your reaction and analysis is amazing. I love your take on the talent of ALL of the members of the group, and not just her amazing vocals. Keep up the good work!
"...while guitarist goes back to folk lute playing, I going to go back to being a sweet little girl in the country selling apples by the roadside." Cracked me up.
Old Guy, I am 64 years old, I love anything musically, as long as it is good. My tastes vary from Alison Krause & Union Station to KMFDM and everything in-between. I have an extensive classical music collection on my iTunes library also. Jinjer is exceptional. No ifs, ands, or buts! I was so taken by her vocal ability, I started to watch some of her live performances. To me, Judgement & Punishment (1 Take) is the best music video I have watched in quite a while. Where "Pisces" is incredible, Judgement & Punishment (1 Take) will blow your mind. To meld reggae and metal, who would have thought of that? Jinjer would and did! There is a reaction video from a woman who is Jamaican, loves reggae and she was stunned by that video. Glad to see you are on the Jinjer bandwagon. I have even gone so far as to order a t-shirt, long-sleeve t-shirt and hat, that is how much of a fan I have become, plus went on iTunes and downloaded all of their albums! Enjoy dude!
Your look of shock and astonishment at the realization of her growl range had me cracking up. Love seeing everyone's reaction to this band. It's the closest I can get to that initial feeling falling down that particular rabbit hole with this band. You definitely have an eye and ear for details. You got my sub!
Your perception is very good. The way you picked out what's coming within the first minute or so, just by the way they're set up and using their instruments is something that a lot of channels don't have, and definitely made this reaction more interesting because I learned something along the way. You're on to something, keep it up!
Scorpio Gang! Not gonna lie though, I really enjoy your reactions. You listen to the entire ensemble and break down almost every piece of the band and pay attention to everything. Also you have brought up points about the musicianship of the artists that I hadn't taken into consideration. Keep up the reactions man. I know I'll watch every one.
Really enjoyed your insight and observations... you hit on all the things that some other reactors miss... This song has beco.e my guilty pleasure to react to. She and they are incredible... this is a stand out song...
Another excellent female metal singer I recommend is Floor Jansen who is now the main singer of Nightwish, a Finnish symphonic metal band. They are also reacted to quite a lot. Ghost Love Score live from Wacken 2013 is a good start on the symphonic side but if you want a heavier song I recommend Romanticide from the same show.
Oh my god how I loved this! «This is a segway into something», and you hear the shift, smile confidently, then fell spart. Love your reactions man! Easy sub! Would love to see you check out Norwegian allgirl band Katzenjammer, with «Hey ho on the devils back».
I love the „oh oh“ around 18:13 :) the guitar moving to the bridge pickup and the buildup. I had the same oh oh, like - really they are taking it one more level up? Yes they did. :)
Subbed 🤘🏻 I think you need to go perennial live at Wacken next... to put your doubts to rest, then hold tight, as you are headed down a rabbit hole you will never leave 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Well yes that's her indeed. The thing with screams and growls is that with correct technique you should be able to go back and forth from singing to growling without any complication. It's also safe to do. Again, with correct technique.
Her moments of the most aggressive voice are in the songs Home back, Perennial, Pit of consciousness, Judgment (& Punishment) [One Take Vocal Performance] and in various tracks of their new live album. About the how, I saw another video of a singing teacher, which mentions that she uses a technique called false chords, that's why she doesn't hurt her vocal chords.
The thing I like most about this song is the Opeth vibes I get from it. Probably my favorite metal band of all time! I did this kind of vocalization for 13 years on the road (the screaming only). It's super impressive to me how well she has mastered the technique, her voice is very healthy. She isn't pushing and doing damage when she screams. I haven't seen them live, but I would assume she probably knocks out some of those high notes for convenient screams to save a little for the end like anyone else does, but WOW. The delivery is so clean.

Someone else recommended Demolisher I guess it needs to go on the list.... Thanks LOVE your comment your really know and love metal!!!!
"if she goes back to the soft angel, Im done 'cus there is no way she could have done all that and then..." You have no idea 😊
RIGHT?!? I jinxed myself on that one!!!
@@OldSkuleNerd Yea I did it too. When she hit those high notes... DAAAAMN
JEFF was HERE 🏆 Congratulations
You should check out Kitty - Brackish
They kick ass.. female group
No she’s just the most unbelievable vocalist alive 🤘🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥
Correct she is one of the best
GLS is great. It will get you a lot of subs too. ;)
I like the idea of LIVE.... Nightwish?n OK its on the list thanks Darque Mode!!!!
Watching the reactions to the transition has become my new hobby!...lol
I love how you had this look of triumph when you were right about the transition coming... 1 second later - reactor.exe has stopped working 😂
Hey there. The vocalists name is Tatiana, and yes, that is all her! You should check out some concert performances, they are even better :)
Lip sync.
Perennial 🤘🤘🤘
She can 100% do this live. She honestly almost sounds better, live.
yep this video is 2 years old
Saw it live...fucking magical and my first metal concert...was blessed.
Tatiana has the technique down so perfectly, its just masterfull.. and selftaught..just unbelieveable.
Well he is a drummer, so he is a musician.
@@randywissler9923awesome! I will have to check those out
For them, THIS IS a ballad.
Yupp, it is quite relaxing :-)
FUN!!!
SUBBING
You haven't heard nothing yet...
Yeah, she's probably the best on the planet at what she does.
Welcome in the Jinjer family!!
In short: You called a curveball incoming, but didn't expect a curving bean to the temple XD
There is a modicum of post production, however you're correct, Tatiana is the most incredible vocal talent. Welcome to the rabbit hole. Enjoy the ride.
Super happy I came across your channel after 3 videos man. That tattoo you mention is rad btw
what i really like about your reaction is, that you're one of the very few who acknowledges the crazy level of the band as a whole. It's not only Tati, they are artists altogether. thumbs up
seen all his other jinjer reactions except this one. LOL this is the best Pisces reaction EVER.
I remember going to listen to the studio version, cause so many people were talking about this song. I thought 'Oh, a nice low-voiced lady and a screamo guy. Cool.' It wasn't until I actually watched the video that I realized both voices came from the same person. XD
100% prepared to sell my soul to that.
I think that this is my favorite reaction video to "Pisces". You acknowledge the other musicians. Something that no one else really does.
It's the " she doesn't have the power like adele" for me right before hell breaks loose 😂
But jokes aside your love for music and attention to detail is inspiring. Amazing reaction!
Dude! You have no idea the ride you're about to go on! Hang on tight and enjoy. Perennial live at Wacken, Teacher! Teacher! official video, I Speak Astronomy, Who's Gonna be the One etc. etc.. Have fun!
All of these definitely - and Crime and Punishment One Take Vocal Performance
“Most amazing vocal control on the planet”
*Devin Townsend has entered the chat.*
^ This!
@@speckon *Mike Patton has entered the chat.* Lol Mike and Devin are insane vocalists.
I almost fell out of my chair laughing when he said she doesn't have the power of Adele so matter of factly
Your face! The best one I've seen on this video, thanks :) yes, she growls better than Satan :D
I can’t stand when they cut the corners and come into my lane.
I NEVER get tired of watching people reacting to this.
It was my first reaction to them so ai was very Naive lol can’t wait to see them LIVE in Dec
@@OldSkuleNerd Nov.27 for me.Time #2, but have the Meet and Greet this time. You should be their VIP guest for the New Orleans show.
First video I saw was jinjer. My head blew off. this is added to my timeless music collection. Not hardly no modern groups makes that list.
Definitely Perennial, live Wacken. But dont miss out on the older gems like Outlander and Scissors .
I think i watched literally every reaction to this song and in my opinions this has to be the best
She is just that damn good, and all self taught
This might be my favourite reaction to Jinjer so far. I've seen about 50 or so of them. You figured out so much stuff and you seem so knowledgable. PLEASE react to Jinjer's Judgement (& Punishment) - One Take Vocal. It came out not long ago. It's incredible IMHO. You won't regret it! :)
It's actually option "A" ... welcome to the rabbit hole. Also, loved the Adele comment. heheh
I absolutely agree with your friends take on female metal singers
Goes back in the time machine. "I'm gonna like this" Truer words were never said lol
I have recently found Jinjer myself and am hooked on reaction vids. You remind me of myself and the thoughts I had.
This whole ensemble is….. breathtaking. I haven’t been this impressed by a band since the 90s. They are right up there with Floyd and Pantera in my list.
Tatiana is genuinely the Freddie Mercury of women. She has a unique talent that I hope to God that she continues to treasure and use as she sees fit
You can always tell the people who react to this who've heard it before and pretend not to have.
Tatiana is absolutely amazing. That's all her.
I subscribed to you because, You realize that Jinjer is more than just a great singer. They are great musicians!
The look on your face is priceless, lol.... Indeed her voice.
@@dtpfeiffer yeah, they are great. It would especially be great to have a live version of I Speak Astronomy.
Yeah, but the voice doubling is in the clear parts. The growling is all natural. She goes easy on the growls in this one ...
@@IdiotPosterBoy lol, the most obvious part where you can hear it is the second chorus with the higher pitched scream and deeper growl overlayed. It's definitely her making both though.
Queen Tati, such a sweetheart. Just never forget her birthday 🤣
I still come back to this video once awhile, your reaction and analysis is amazing.
I love your take on the talent of ALL of the members of the group, and not just her amazing vocals.
Keep up the good work!
This is one of the best Pisces reactions I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them. Subbed.
When the song changes up, your reaction had me laughing almost to the point of wetting myself!
I'm typing this with tears in my eyes.
Dude your face when she started growling. Everyone is asleep and I damn near woke them up laughing.
"...while guitarist goes back to folk lute playing, I going to go back to being a sweet little girl in the country selling apples by the roadside." Cracked me up.
No mic tricks. She does it live
Don't know why but this song makes me wanna cry in a good way
I saw her live 3 times already, it's not fake. She completely rocks it.
Oh sweet Lita Ford! Also, Welcome to Jinjer!
I will always love the look of amazement the first time someone hears Jinjer
I have seen them twice live since this video… still amazed
@@OldSkuleNerd that's awesome never saw them live but have watched every video possible, such an amazing band
I speak astronomy by jinjer should definitely be on your list of must listen to songs. Love the channel keep it up!
Enjoy dude!
She gives me chills every single time and I have heard this 300000 times
The reviews are addicting 🤣🤘
Yes. Try the one vocal one take of "Judgement and Punishment" or the live version from Wacken of "Perennial". Won`t be disappointed! 😉
You're on to something, keep it up!
you know what's never getting old? reactions to this song 🤣
You were the closest to guessing what was going to happen, and yet the surprise was great! Thanks!
I love that smooth stuff. I could listen to that all day everyday. But I would need to be in the mood for the growling stuff too.
Teacher Teacher from Jinjier is great as well, as are most songs by "The Pretty Reckless"
Your face right when the heavy part starts omg 😂
Oh my god how I loved this! «This is a segway into something», and you hear the shift, smile confidently, then fell spart. Love your reactions man!
Easy sub!
Would love to see you check out Norwegian allgirl band Katzenjammer, with «Hey ho on the devils back».
Lmao 🤣 😂😅 I love to watch people lose it when she blows their mind 😂 yes that's really her voice. That's an amazing talent.
I love the „oh oh“ around 18:13 :) the guitar moving to the bridge pickup and the buildup. I had the same oh oh, like - really they are taking it one more level up? Yes they did. :)
Jinjer is awesome....Tati is unreal.....love that you saw the whole band is awesome.
Jinjer is fukn amazing, I stand in awe of Tatiana's voice
TaTi is a Queen all hail Queen TaTi...and her musical warriors!
Subbed 🤘🏻 I think you need to go perennial live at Wacken next... to put your doubts to rest, then hold tight, as you are headed down a rabbit hole you will never leave 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Theres a whole bunch of viewers that go around watching reaction to THIS... its the best reaction on reaction videos anywhere on TH-cam.
Man you love the sound of your voice.
Well yes that's her indeed. The thing with screams and growls is that with correct technique you should be able to go back and forth from singing to growling without any complication. It's also safe to do. Again, with correct technique.
We have continued to learn about metal vocals, what we could do back in the day has paved the way to do this kind of range. She’s masterful
Her moments of the most aggressive voice are in the songs Home back, Perennial, Pit of consciousness, Judgment (& Punishment) [One Take Vocal Performance] and in various tracks of their new live album.
About the how, I saw another video of a singing teacher, which mentions that she uses a technique called false chords, that's why she doesn't hurt her vocal chords.
you're on a wonderful reuniting with metal \m/ \m/
The thing I like most about this song is the Opeth vibes I get from it. Probably my favorite metal band of all time!
I did this kind of vocalization for 13 years on the road (the screaming only). It's super impressive to me how well she has mastered the technique, her voice is very healthy. She isn't pushing and doing damage when she screams. I haven't seen them live, but I would assume she probably knocks out some of those high notes for convenient screams to save a little for the end like anyone else does, but WOW. The delivery is so clean.
