The Charcuterie board is a hit normally my friend Kayla makes one for parties etc , using different snacks and cheeses and it can be super affordable if you shop for the stuff ahead of an gathering.
Quantity vs quality is ok until you learn more about fast fashion and the unfair trade involved in the cheap clothes. 😢 I love clothes too but my eyes were opened to this about a year ago and I have really changed my buying habits. Love both of you guys!! This was great!! Just wanted to make you aware as I know you were conscious of this with your wallet!! ♥️♥️♥️
That was fun to listen to! I was a no on almost everything because I'm older and really don't get off on "stuff" anymore. I'll keep my iPhone 7 Plus until it dies. lol!
We used to celebrate new years Eve early, like a 9pm countdown. Then, we would go snowboarding first thing new years day. It is never crowded as it seems everyone else was up late.
Air pods are a lifestyle life changing item in my opinion. I have Beats ones and even though I wish I could tune out my little kids more and listen to podcasts, I just don't have the time. Haha. Love watching u 2 together!
I will say that Airpods are def more debateable bc i tested out other cheaper (but not super cheap) bluetooth ear buds, but absolutely none were close to the Airpod connectivity (obv) and charge time
Ugg slippers - totally worth it! I have had them for over 5 years and they are still going strong. I bought them at DSW and they were lots less expensive than at other retailers.
Airpods? Wow. I would say that is a huge waste of money. Especially when it's like half the price of game console (which you said was a waste of money).
I bought the iphone 12 to replace my 7 and will not replace until 24 comes out :) and I am watching this video wearing an amazon fashion gray sweater turtle neck. I would rather it be high quality cashmere but it does the trick has not worn out.
concerts - wife and i have loved jamming to queen since we met. we told each other the only way we would ever pay front row for something is if it was queen... here we are in 2023 and have front row seats for queen. so excited. obviously a once in a life time experience and we would never pay front row for anything else. Personally i like George's comment about bands and stuff that are smaller so most tickets are GA anyways. Most of the bands i see outside of mainstream are like $40 a ticket AFTER fees.
On the issue of video game consoles… I have a Nintendo Wii that sits in my living room purely to remind me that I shouldn’t go buy a new console. I haven’t played it in years, and have thought many times about selling it, but I kept it so that every time I think that I want a new game console I can say, I could just go play my wii if I really wanted to play video games.
One thing about video games and this isn't everyone, but you can save a lot of money. When you playing video games, you not spending money. I say this with a caveat as a lot of people are not self restrained and will buy every cosmetic, so it can be expensive but it also can be cheap. I play the same game and save a ton of money because I am not out spending or shopping. I have an older console, so depends on if your only hobby or if you really need a newer console.
As a head phone lover!! It's a mom thing I don't get to use any of my favorites and I have reverted to cheap head phones because you can't cancel all noise while you have a baby or toddler.
One really good tip is if your going to buy chocolates or candies, go to the Dollar Store (Dollarama, Dollar Tree) instead of buying them at the Circle K, Macs, 7-11 etc.. they are half the price !
I have a supply of $5 Amazon t shirts that have lasted me three years so far. I buy shirts assuming I'm going to spill salad dressing on them and ruin them.
I AGREE. I AM 61 YEARS OLD. I HAVE A HARD FULL TIME JOB . SO MY MONEY GOES TOWARD THE BASIC THINGS WE NEED TO LIVE. SO I COULD NOT RELATE TO THE THINGS THEY TALKED ABOUT. HIGH DOLLAR OR FANCY STUFF. ELECTRONICS, PHONES, EATTING OUT, SHOPPING. THESE THINGS ARE NOT PART OF MY LIFE. SO POD CAST WAS NOT FOR ME.👎
My bro got the airpods pro and my family enjoyed taking turns testing them out! Felt like kids getting the new toy. Lol They really are pretty cool considering I have no AirPods anc still use a corded earbud. I would prob really enjoy that.
Hi, these episodes are cool. But it would have been even better if you each wrote your opinion on a paper or card board, then disclosed them. Then discussed the reasons why. Be blessed. Thanks.
iPhone.... 🤢 Samsung Galaxy A Series = new flagship phone $150 with a case and screen protector shipped to your door courtesy of eBay. Use it until it breaks then buy a new one. Don't fix what's not broke.
While I do not need the newest video game console my fiancé and son would say it is worth it. Here’s my thoughts on it though… if I am truly spending $500 out of my pocket that’s a hard pass, but if you trade in and only pay half I can justify the cost and say it is worth it. We will actually be trading our sons old switch in along with the ps4 and after both those, we will maybe spend $100. This I am ok with and I’m truly stingy according to my fiancé.
I wanna see that ring 💍. I don’t mess w Amazon. When they start paying their fair share of taxes and treating their employees betr then I’ll buy from them…
One thing I would like to add into this... Unique gifts, if you buy me anything on Etsy I'm donating it or throwing it out. I think it's also important to remember that what you like and what you think is cool and you need doesn't necessarily mean the other person will. We live in a world that's addicted to materialism and stuff We all have stuffitis and we really need to take a step back and ask is this truly a good gift? Well this person really find value in this?
With gaming though, if you want to be able to buy games through their software center, at a certain point for previous consoles, they just shut off that capability. Just wait for the first sale of the next gen console or take a risk and buy used. Better yet, just do Steam games on PC. Consoles landlock you, but only some of the titles are exclusives. Just go to your buddy's house and play if that's the case.
I haven't gone all the way through the video yet, but Amazon fashion ,Rachel, really? do you know what happens to the returns and all this cheap fast fashion? It clogs the world. I was hoping you would have looked into this a little more, a little disappointed.
This list is far too bourgeoise to the point of Cringe in 2022. Talk to your staff, that might help create a list that is relevant to the average American. I think the Etsy topic, iphone topic, is solid, but some of the others....
🤔 You’ve made multiple comments on this video about C-19. It’s now endemic and isn’t going away… I guess you’ll be social distancing while the rest of us resume living our lives.
You lost me on crypto. How can you say it's not based in anything? Many established projects are already going in crypto. The goofy stuff usually gets the most press but there's more to it than NFTs and crapcoins

wow, you guys should host a podcast together. It reminds me of my sister and I talking about money. It's funny, and engaging and super relatable lol!
So glad you didn’t dis unique gifts from Etsy. They ARE worth it! And there are some bargains to be found whilst supporting a small business. Love it.
The Charcuterie board is a hit normally my friend Kayla makes one for parties etc , using different snacks and cheeses and it can be super affordable if you shop for the stuff ahead of an gathering.

George has a great personality.. please bring him on more‼️👍
That was fun to listen to! I was a no on almost everything because I'm older and really don't get off on "stuff" anymore. I'll keep my iPhone 7 Plus until it dies. lol!
Do you have an Amazon store front?
Thank you for sharing about your husband's convictions. I agree.
I love when the both of you are together!! You guys together are hilarious ❤️
Rachel is opinionated like her Father. Nothing but love for both of them. ❤️
We used to celebrate new years Eve early, like a 9pm countdown. Then, we would go snowboarding first thing new years day. It is never crowded as it seems everyone else was up late.
Great idea. Go anywhere first thing in the AM, esp if unhungover
@@barbieblue3336 we even went to Disney one year new years day. It was so fun and no lines
I don't know if either of you are older than me or by much if you are, but I agree on NYE! I've been too tired since before I was even a mom.
Air pods are a lifestyle life changing item in my opinion. I have Beats ones and even though I wish I could tune out my little kids more and listen to podcasts, I just don't have the time. Haha. Love watching u 2 together!

I still have a Apple Watch v1.0 .. it still works, I can afford to replace it, but no need, stay strong. When it dies I will replace it
This is a great episode, and I love the way Rachel and George bounce off each other. They are so fun and very enjoyable to watch together. 😄
I learned a lot from this vlog, very helpful.
Ohhh front row for BSB was soooo worth it for me and hope to do it again 😀
I like you two together. Fun and informative.
Ugg slippers - totally worth it! I have had them for over 5 years and they are still going strong. I bought them at DSW and they were lots less expensive than at other retailers.
Good to know! I have been wanting some
@@Thelilmissbz and I'm still wearing the same slippers now! And they get worn every single day - even in summer.
12/12/21....Easy is WONDERFUL for unique items...esp for "that special person"....Depends on how much you want to spend/how well you know the person.
Airpods? Wow. I would say that is a huge waste of money. Especially when it's like half the price of game console (which you said was a waste of money).
Just found your channel….Yay…my daughter and I have listened to your dads station, for years now…I even started listening on AM Radio…
No go to Aldi’s when you do a cheese tray. That’s what my wife does and the family thinks it’s professionally done.
I bought the iphone 12 to replace my 7 and will not replace until 24 comes out :) and I am watching this video wearing an amazon fashion gray sweater turtle neck. I would rather it be high quality cashmere but it does the trick has not worn out.
Spot on! ❤️ Just happy to know I’m not the only one!
Very great lighting on this video.
Love you George 😊

I love the unique things on Etsy.
Other than Etsy I can live without all the other stuff. Never have bought anything off Etsy yet but am considering selling on the platform.
My wedding ring was made on Etsy!❤️
George is probably my favorite other than Dave
I loved this show love u guys together talking about this great show I give it a 10❤️
Thank you guy’s
Love to listen to you both 😁😁👌👌
AirPods-absolutely life changing!
Rachel and George are the best combo.
I have a supply of $5 Amazon t shirts that have lasted me three years so far. I buy shirts assuming I'm going to spill salad dressing on them and ruin them.
I can't relate to any of these items because I'm retired and don't need or use anything on this list.

The regular AirPods are great too
Hi, these episodes are cool. But it would have been even better if you each wrote your opinion on a paper or card board, then disclosed them. Then discussed the reasons why. Be blessed. Thanks.
Cheap fashion is terrible for the environment. Less is more. Ugg slippers have last me 7 years . Just saying. Experiences are are always worth it.
I really do love etsy! I buy stretchy fitbit bands that i can wear on my ankle. The best bands ever!!
I was waiting for Lululemon???
My husband got my wedding ring off Etsy, too! lol
I love my cheap Walmart slippers. Best $8 on shoes I've ever spent.
Define “bougie “ please!
Lunch out 5 times a week: No tea/coffee (free water ‘n ice ‘lemon), no dessert - half [HALF] the bill, double the tip.

“Can I finish?” 🔥
You heard it here…”we’re out of covid season.”
Could you please inform Fauci?
You have to be careful with Etsy. I know more than a few who got scammed on there.
My AirPods changed my life. The key is having them in your key holder so you don’t lose them.
Just don’t like that much radiation ☢️ that close to my 🧠.
What is BOUGIE?
Expensive or high class.
Taken from bourgeoisie
That’s how I interpret it.
Often seen as "tacky" also. Bling
@@barbieblue3336 thank you!
Rachel says she needs a long track record yet BTC started out in the $1-4.00 range, now its over 40k 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
I hope I’m not the only one who had to look up “charcuterie board.”😄
😂
Just you 😆. JK
We’re not out of Covid season yet!
None of these apply to me.
I can't agree on the video game consoles

Char cooter ery-what?
Protect your feet, yes, in the house & out
Lol I will never pay $1000 for a phone no matter what it can do.
Why are charcuterie set ups so popular in this time of covid and 6 feet distancing?
🤣 Because people don’t care about those things within their families and tight social circles?
This guy clearly has never owned or heard of Bose QC35. By far the best noise cancelling headphones.
Rachel my baby 🥰🥰🥰
It's SHAR, not CHAR cuterie
It's French,, not Southern
