Go Navy!!! Go Thunderbirds !!!These amazing pilots are some of the most brilliant men and women on planet Earth.
They are warriors in the air. They chose to serve our country.
All 1st responders are equally brilliant men and woman who chose to serve and care for those in need in the USA.
It excites my soul and I sleep well in-spite of threats of war, terrorism and killer viruses known and unknown due to strong minded dedicated doctors, nurses, caregivers , firefighters, medical personnel who are true heroes who are standing tuff and not cowering away in-spite of not having everything they need to fight this pandemic.
Bringing forth The Blue Angeles and The Thunderbirds to honor the 1st responders is more than just beautiful air show.
Together they are all united Americans working towards the safety and the highest good for every Americans.
Every October in SanFrancisco the Blue Angeles fly for Fleet-week.
And thousands come out to see them and meet them in-spite of fighting depression, people in wheelchairs, with canes, families who are just missing their loved one who died in war and families supporting their enlisted son and daughter.
Our military brings a comfort that far to many Americans take for granted. You complain about the cost of an air show, you complain that doctors and firemen make to much money.
You are stuck in hate against people who look different, speak different until someone who is different than you steps up and saves you or a loved one.
You hate these people because you are a Christian and he is an atheist or Jew.
Never caring that person you chose to hate may be a wounded angel who fought for you in a war. He may have killed many souls so that you can live free. His strong good heart and mind was lost so that you can so that you raise your children in peace and love.
Sadly, many veterans see the you as you step over them as you step over him on the street.
They see you when shoot and kill the innocent because you hate the color of his skin.
They see you when you denied him a place to live because his income is to low.
They see you when you selfishly pulled up to the Dollar Store and bought all the toilet paper and cleaning supplies.
They saw you in the line to buy all the weapons and ammunition to kill a fellow American if they dare ask you for anything or expected you to be kind.
I pray that they never have to see exactly what you are going to do when you money is obsolete and you are out of ammunition and pantry is bare.
They will see your eyes search the sky for the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds whose sound will be a faded memory of days gone by.
    My Dad was Army WWII
MY Uncle was Air Force Pilot WWIl
    My Brother Army Korea
    My Brother US Navy
All good men who made the choice to serve and protect our country, their country our home because of love life, freedom and for our great country.
So if it cost millions of dollar to show our 1st responders that the AMERICAN people love and support their unwavering dedication to fight and save lives know this simple truth. You can’t out give God.
    🙏Special Blessings👍
    VJM

Correct. In the Thunderbird formation of 6, note that two of them (from various angles, best I can tell- #3 and #4) are D models (two seats rather than one). Those two are carrying external fuel tanks (not bombs LOL). The back seats are empty. The chase ship is also a two seater- probably carrying an airman in the back seat filming. And yes- The Blue Angels are F-18s.

Correct on the aircraft.....although the best show is usually the British red arrows or the Italian tri colore.......they both do stunts that the American teams a blocked from performing....after the Ramstein air base crash in the eighties .....they all put on great shows just the red arrows are a little more edgy AH! Factor wise.

Well the Blues have officially transitioned to bigger and louder F/A-18E/F Super Hornet which has replaced the aging ‘Legacy’ Hornet as it was becoming harder to maintain and upkeep overtime as it was starting to become costly from downtime. The Super Hornets are luckily less expensive to maintain as it has 42% less percent structural parts than the Legacy.
Transitioning to the F-35 would have been a waste of money as it’s problems still need to be worked out and a single aircraft is ridiculously too expensive. I don’t hate the F-35 as it does have potential....but I’m disappointed with how it’s maintenance and cost make them uncooperative. ☹️
But the Super Hornet transition was a good decision instead of transitioning to F-35s. That would have been a bank breaker.
