They remind me a lot of The Unit mentors, especially the vocal mentors. YJ & CR and The Unit mentors are, in my opinion, the best at teaching and giving constructive criticism

You don’t have to yell, but being harsh and not sugarcoating things and being straight up will help you see and make you improve fast. I’m honestly grateful for my dance instructors. Sure I cried a lot, but I can see that I became amazing because of it

IF a mentor or dance teacher is being strict, then the members of that group/company know they aren't doing their best because the mentor or dance teacher wouldn't be picking them apart. I've seen some of Dreamcatcher's behind the scenes stuff and they have amazing relationships with all their staff including their choreographers and dance teachers and that translates to how well they communicate with, and respond to, the dance teacher and choreographer.

imo they are not even harsh they speak right to the point so they can improve. And you can see yeji and charyeong giving awesome advice and not strict at all

Which imo i do not like it some very strict. Like from the looks of it. Yeji is more strict compared to chaeryeong. Chaeryeong imo she give me the vibe of she is sweet and super kind. Yeji is more fierce kind. But than both gave very good comments on improving.

@@janerubykae ye but it's their opinion. Sometimes a little strictness may be good but there are people that will end up loathing the mentor because of their ways so sometimes it's better to just soften up for a bit so that the people you're mentoring won't end up hating you/hating themselves.

But there are very sensitive people out there that can't improve with strictness or toxic motivation. Some improves only by taking slow steps and hearing gentle words... I love them mentoring trainees because we all know that they both studied dance when they were younger even before JYPE then individually they joined shows that were memorable that showcased their talent both were praised by their seniors. Joined Straykids show Chaeryeong built a reputation as trainee and Yeji being the best during their trainee (both boys and girls) days. Seeing them mentoring for sure reminds them of the journey that they went through. Note: If you think a certain idol is better suitable for the position think again, know their level, the age and atmosphere of the show. It's not just putting the Best among the rest it's putting the best that suits the show and theme also goal of the show. I respect other idols but i don't think there's a better duo for the show in this generation.
Additionally ITZY is Kpop's 4th Gen Leaders no "Also, and, with or Buts" it was given to them even the Worldwide Rookies and Monster Rookies it was given to them and don't start with "24hr views or listeners" They are also known as KPOP's Representative Performer. You can hate them non stop but they are born to be those titles. Let's just enjoy the show 🥰

Wow, I love the fact that they are so honest and get right to the straight facts but are still so nice about it. If it was me I would have been freaking out with the one girl who has only 2-3 parts and has to learn her part by the next day. It's not even too much to learn. Is it because they showed up so unexpectedly and just kinda startled her so she just gave an excuse? But really, I love how Yeji said it so calmly, with strictness yet not so harshly where it would have made her cry. It's very important, because they need a lot of motivation, but at the same time, they really do need the roughness as well. They look like little baby kittens and like one small thing is gonna make them crumble. They need to be shown some toughness as well so when it comes to any bad moments or being judged harshly they can get through it and shoot straight for the top afterwards.
Yeji is scary, at the same time focused on the art and craft of performing. As she watches these girls perform she is very focused on their performance and wants them to realize what they are getting themselves into in order to be future great performers.
I felt so bad for Anxin. She was practicing all day and night and she said to the mentors “I haven’t practiced enough yet.” I feel like the other girl who came from Anxins country should’ve helped her more with the translations. Poor thing not even the leader was bothered to help her, they should’ve provided some sort of translators because this is a *global* gg audition.
