There is ONE THING you didn't teach about in this video. If you start the game by pathing bot, your first two chimes will spawn botside and you can then invade. If you start by pathing directly from botside jungle, it can spawn on mid and you potentially just lost a chime to narnia land. Another thing is bonus style. If you zhonyas right after pressing W, it looks like you are waving at your team like the silly goofball bard is and that is cool.
If you have the chance to smite challenge the enemy jungler early on with spellbook, that's more mentally draining on them than a double baron steal. Before 8 minutes, a buff steal is basically a dragon soul's worth of grief to them
another fun gimmick is that if an enemy tries to get executed by a tower and bard uses his ult at the right time (when the tower shot is currently flying towards the enemy) he can ult just the tower and have the execute count as his kill

There is a tech from spellbook you didn't mention which i usually use, that's swap to teleport when enemy jg start moving to other lane to drop herald and using R denied it. I start used this trick recently and it's very good when your team trade early drake for herald or enemy team would have a first turret with herald.
The one inch portal can also be used as a stun : After a teamfight me and an ally played in the enemy bard's portal, Then we both died coz we could not dodge the 1 HP Lux' Lazer.
Also something you can do for style points is to ult on top of you when someone jumps you and flash at the last second leaving them in the golden timeout while you portal out of there.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Q tech when you're using ult on an enemy behind a minion wave. AKA hitting a minion wave + an enemy champ that's behind a bundled up few of minions, and then firing your Q to exactly overlap with the minion in the back so you can stun the champion behind them. I like to call it the Snipe-Tech.
Guys if you didn't know you can actually use w twice in one cast. Bind a key for selfcast. while hovering your mouse on terrain use w and the binded key at the same time.
Idiot me, who doesn't see the gank coming even if he has a red and 3 wards along the river, the tri-bush, the river bush, and even the enemy blue: Wow this W trick is going to save me some wards! And I will be safe in lane for early ganks! So useful! /j (it is actually a great TIP to keep in mind, should the occasion arise)
I wish Bard's chimes showed on the ally's minimaps.... Theyd understand why youre running through river and not just assume youre level 2 roaming because they forget what Bard's passive is.

For the hitbox part. The hitbox of chaaracters is at their feet not at their upper body. That is why Superteemo was nerfed and they added the circle.
