- A very fun surprise birthday trip to the Spanish countryside around Alicante: In this video we go on a short trip to the Spanish countryside that Zoe planned for my Birthday. This short trip really took us by surprise, as we got to explore one hidden gem after another!
We visit Elche's beautiful palm grove, eat a delicious menu at a great vinyard, spend a few days relaxing by the pool at a lovely guesthouse and go on a fun ebike tour to have a picnic at another great vinyard in the area. We can highly recommend a trip like trip if you're in the Alicante area!

Impaired/Drunk bicycle riding is highly illegal- you would go to jail in the USA! (did you drive back? - even worse)
We're always very careful not to go over any limits. We made sure not to drink too much and also spent a few hours at that place before driving home, so we're very confident that we weren't impaired in any way. The limit in Spain and many other European countries is also higher than in the US, so we definitely weren't doing anything illegal.
