If Strauss waltz is physical Chopin waltz is soulful. I listened some of Chopin waltzes many many times. Very romantic, reminiscent. What a wonderful play!!!

In case you're wondering, the tuning is Standard E, but the Low E and A string are tuned up a whole step, to an F# and B respectively, thus making easier to play the bass notes

Sorry, to my opinion Roland Dyens own version sounds even more emotional to me while played with a great technique as well.
