What I really like about your content, is your dedication to be truthful to the memes and your tendency to (reasonable) completion (AND sometimes even beyond that!).
In this case this means:
You went out of your way to ensure, that it is "4th R" as the tag
And you didn't "falter" before you defeated the Allies.
There are so many instances, where someone would just stops middle of the war and especially half way through the aimed "campaign" goal(s). (In your case I would think sth along the lines like only occupying South and Middle America but stopping at US border, f.e.)
I don't know if others feel the same about it as me, but atleast for me it's a great quality and appeal of (most of) your content.
After all this time and amount of HoI4 videos I have seen, I often come to the point where I think "Ow man, I wish he would have done that too eventhough it's a good bunch of work. It feels just half way" BUT very rarely I get this watching you. F.e. in this specific video at the very end I just thought "Yeah, I get you. Stopping here is reasonable and I appreciate that you didn't stop at other possible points earlier".
Sorry for the long text, but after all this time and watching so many videos, I really wanted to express this eventually.
With some experimenting this is what I have found with the peace conferences: Make sure to take all land that is claimable first, even small stuff like the Falklands if defeat the allies for instance. Keep contesting any initial claims. Then contest if there are specific things you want that where claimed before, you can contest after it has been initially given to someone else. Then at the end, even if you don't have enough points for it, you can just take all the fleets. Might have changed with the latest DLC as I don't have it yet but try it. This prevents these countries that have been defeated surviving

@@starborn6239 He explained it in the video, but basically if you take the focus that renames you into The Fourth Reich *before* completing the last focus of your political tree (which among other juicy things renames you into Sudamerica Legionara), you'll end up looking much less dapper than you'd probably want to at the end of the game.

A vanilla run through with historic AI focuses turned off? With a minor nation? Now THIS is the kind of content I love.
@Bitt3rSteel You should give Peru a try. this patch. Even with just the generic focus tree they get a lovely tiered formable nation first with the confederation (via conquest) with Bolivia giving them speedy core justifications to Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Ecuador and Brazil. After that you can form the good old faithful Bolivarian Empire by conquering Colombia, Panama and Venezuela. You can unify South America by 39' - 40' basically now easy and with the "No Step Back" peace deals you can get a sizable navy for a UK conquest after that. Best FLC addition basically Paradox ever made IMO. Take care :)

Actually despite being a terrible template I found the Patriotic League units useful for dealing with Brazil for just quickly encircling units once you get into central Brazil since you can move quite quickly in the tiles without awful terrain at least.
I'd like to see a run where he only comes to argentina after the war and brings with him the war goals to go to europe
Great video man, but i would advice not getting the loans at the start, Argentina needs that PP to core south america fast. By saving as much pp as póssible, you can become a mid/late game juggernaut.

Would it be possible to do it in historic Ai? Like after Germany loses the war. I think it aims actually intended like this. Because the graf Spee Focus refers on a ship which was sunk 1939 near Uruguay. And also the atomic research would fit more.

Also just for anyone that doesn't want to mess with game rules; you can get this achievement on historical. Senor hilter will still show up after a normal capitulation of Germany by the allies (which you can speed along by sending volunteers, I found Britain will accept them even if they hate you). Just make sure you take the correct path in the focus tree (The hoi4 wiki seems to imply that the Italian model side rather than the German model will lock you out of getting Hilter, so you cannot get this achievement and the conquistador one in the same run. That said, you *DO NOT* have to take the join the axis focus, independent Argentina works.).
I tried it and loose 2 years on Paraguay so I invaded Brazil in 1944. The axis was dead already and Brazil joined the Allies.

I've seen Bitt3rSteel say it so many times. But I simply don't believe it.
The division names mod. Which in theory is great. The idea for it is amazing.
But the part that it stops the mod from being compatible with Ironman mode doesn't make sense. I've played Ironman compatible mods that change division names before. Though I haven't touched them since NSB so if something change since them, Bit3rSteel's defense is valid.
Mod was for Luxemburg and it renamed all divisions to 1st street garrison, 2nd, 3rd and so on.
If you know how to do it, let me know. It annoys me.

actually you can make somewhat of a historical game. You just need to set germany to random and every other nations on historical. then the custom gamemod looks a bit historical (even tho there's also some weird stuff such as nations joining the allies even tho they shouldn't. also france might get communist and the UK is going to decolonize. you're gonna need to restart one or two times to have germany going civil war tho. (and this is iron man)
If you still want to try this again but more historical, you can set the game to ahistorical, but manually set every nation but germany to historical. Then you just need to roll the normal dice on germany going oppose hitler, which I think is actually pretty high. Maybe 2/3rd chance?
So I've seen the German cuvil war dozens of times. I tried this achievement just now, and the Reich actually beat the Junta. It took 2 yrs, but I've never seen the war end thatvway

I was very proud of myself for playing Argentina recently and pushing the Allies out of South America... and then I must have misread the decision to take the Falklands and South Georgia from the UK so when I hit it, it white peaced me out and resurrected Brazil and the various colonial nations despite my having established a collaboration Brazil. Imagine if I were smart enough to read a tooltip!

Would you happen to have a video on how the air system works I've been trying to play historical Finland and conquer all of Scandinavia and realize nordic unity but the closet I've ever come is I beat the soviets managed to push sweden into the axis by declaring on bulgaria and getting to war with germany and getting non aggression pacts with the allies, I manged to take mainland Scandinavia and Denmark but not iceland greenland and jan mayen and since they were part of the allies I had to go to war with them and my airforce couldn't beat them, I just don't know if it's because of the template because they are rookies or if it's something else

If your achievements are already disabled you can just enable player-led peace conferences. Its not cheating, this video is proof that game is broken and that peace conferences suck. Just be fair and give others what they occupied. I am here for content, i dont care if your game is on ironman or not.
