Dance choreographed by Vanessa for competition. This dance won us a first place trophy in the Student Choreography category =) This was a practice of the dance and it is missing one person.
why are people writing bad comments i love it and its helped me choreograph my own dance with my friends that we have to teach to younger kids (thanks)
i also dance at my school and we are taught to ALWAYS give it our all. even though we are exhausted at the end of the day we now we have made progress and know that we are improving as a dancers. Even when we practice we give it our all, because if you always practice without putting any emotion and without putting your ALL into it you're most likely going to perform that way. why? because you always practice like that, because your used to it.
This is one of my favorite songs so I saw the title and I was like ohhh o.o. :-D I feel there could have been more energy to the choreography but hey watev. Good job.

Like I stated in the description, it was just a practice session and it was missing a person. That had been a long day of dress rehearsal, and by that point, we were all tired. The dance was choreographed by a STUDENT, which is why we won first place. For the fact that a student, and not a teacher had come up with that.
Im also a dancer, and the dancers at my school always put in at least 99.99% in our rehearsals. No matter if its just a rehearsal doesnt mean you cant go all out, because if you dont go all out when you actually perform you can screw up. this lacted alot of technique, and the choreography couldve been better. NO OFFENSE, not trying to argue or anything, just saying. Dance takes passion, and dedication. But overall good job girls. :)
Gotta focus on the technique and the emotion more. They have to take control of their bodies more. It looks like they're just jumping around. Point the toes and straighten the legs. Stretch out the extensions more. I'm not criticizing, only giving tips :)
cont.. so don't say that you don't even bother to properly dance because i don't know ONE dancer who never gives it their all in all the practices. Unless that person isn't fully committed to dance then they shouldn't be dancing in the first place. enough said.

I think the dance was amazing however some of the girls dancing seemed to have no passion. If there was more passion then it would be much better. I really liked it though
no technique, no emotion, too much arms...i blame the choreography,not you girls, because i am sure each one of you can do so much more:) anything is possible-i would know because for my dance team competition last year we won little based on choreography we were taught. it wasn't our fault-we did exactly what we were taught lol so i relate
I'm sorry, but I agree with most people who say there was no emotion. Also, a lot of technique was missing. The dance was mostly interpretation and I am sure with emotion it would be amazing, but without actual technical moves, this dance doesn't get very many points with me. I know my opinion doesn't matter, but you put it on the web to be criticized. And when the "main girl" had a solo part around the 2 minute mark, that was the worst.
I didn't like it and not only for the lack of emotion(i understand it was practice) but the choreo is far too easy for you, you need to be challenged more, maybe a slower song that will help you pay more attention to your technique, like in turns and leg extension.I think you have good potencial and you can see that you have studied! just please pay more attention to those details, and if you are not able to accept criticism don't post videos on a site the whole world can access..
Ok more technique and more movement and facial expression and stay together make it flow and change choreography I'm sorry I can't sugar coat u guys the dance sucks but not u

I liked the different levels of choreo and how it went with the music, but don't forget to point your toes, even if you were just marking it :)

With a song like this you need to tell a story not just do a bunch of dance moves
