I don't think it went down the drain, its not ending we wanted but it made sense for Klaus and Elijah after 1000 years to sacrifice for something good finally. I was just pissed it was too much about Hope and clearly a PR for Legacies.. but Klaus's arc in last 2 seasons and how much he changed because of Hope and how he became a better man unlike we have ever seen him before was amazing

I should be grateful that the originals got one more season after she promised more btw but why 13 episode!?!? We should at least get more. I heard she cancelled it because she wanted to make another show which people said would fail but come on. Tvd had more and their finale was kinda all over the place season 4 only had 13 i believe and everything was rushed please think about the fans and make this finale spectacular!

University Of Mystic Falls I think it's the CW's way of saying this is a fan favorite but ratings are dropping (which they are) so here's half a season to close loose ends. I know that CW has said that it's to "Strengthen" the mid season line up. It honestly could be that they just don't have enough shows to cover the slot. It is odd that they gave them two small seasons. Because I do agree I could've seen season 4 as the closer. It 100% could've been. Because it closed off. No loose ends and heart wrenching enough to keep it in our heads!

I love how Daniel is literally the only one who stands for what he believes in; he stood up to so called fans hating on his co star (Leah) whilst many ignored, he openly and respectfully discusses when he feels his character is going down hill due to writers and how he wishes his character may be portrayed (eg Hayley and Elijah relationship and elijahs dismissal towards cami and davinas death) and he has this sense of familiarly towards his cast he just is such an amazing bloody person
Honestly. He is very very very mature, you can just tell by looking at him and his posture. He's basically almost the perfect man

For their last Comic Con, I wished we heard more from the cast. Daniel and Phoebe really seemed uninterested until that CLOSH moment. I don't know. Maybe they were tired, end of the day and all. I will miss these actors.
i feel the same as i mentioned they thought the show was over with the season 4 finale so they were ready to move on and were planning their next projects when the show was picked up last minute they are probably not as invested anymore don't get me wrong im glad the show will be able to end properly but lets be honest season 4 wasn't great and the ending felt like a series finale to me i have a feeling i will be disappointment with season 5 tbh i already am seeing that they are going the fan service route when they should focus on story
Yeah, I agree Daniel and Phoebe were probably ready to move on and tired of hearing Julie Plec's storylines, but they did appear more livelier and involved in some of the other interviews.
Phoebe looks to me as if she could drop where she stands. The same for Daniel. Maybe she came directly from Australia and he from Africa. They really look jet-lagged. And then lets face it, this is the same BS for years now. The same questions and the same explanations. I don´t watch it for the talking, I only enjoy looking at Daniel. And see him interact with Joseph. These two are by far the most entertaining thing during these interviews.

Julie is definitely gonna screw up the final season just based on what I have heard from her in some interviews. Like this thing with Hayley's friend with benefits and Hope having a teen romance with some kid, it really doesn't seem like she knows the show at all. These are the originals for fuck sake and Hope is the daughter of Klaus she's powerful enough to be worshiped as a god, portray her that way and not this boring teen drama shit. Explore how it is she came to terms with the fact that her father is the biggest mass murderer in history or how she's has been dealing with just having her mother around when she was raised with such a predominance on the importance of family. Not to mention so far there seems to be a total neglecting of the character of Elijah when they left him in such an interesting position and the end of the season. You are writing a show with characters that are 1000 plus years old, don't treat them like they are teenagers.

Daniel Gillies and Rachel Leigh Cook make an even cuter couple...and they're chemistry is 100% genuine.
The irony here is that Daniel and Paul are really good friends and were before Paul started TVD. So I'd imagine he probably knows whats going on with her. But honestly Daniel and his wife Rachel are the most perfect couple together ever. I love the video of them together at the premiere of Kingdom Come!
What always made me like Hayley and Elijah together was their chemistry. You can only act to a certain point, and I think that their real life chemistry is what made their fiction relationship believable. Please don't hate, because I'm not saying that their in love in real life, just that they're probably good friends and great actors😂

I never shipped Klaus with anyone, I think he is better off alone, its more of his character to be a savage. Plus wouldn't a spin off of Klaus being a savage vagabond be sick as fuck? Also we need to see Klaus in his wolf form! This is a must because we the audience have been teased for so long! I imagine his wolf form to be dark yellow or gold with bright yellow eyes. Epic just epic.
