Gosh, I can totally relate since me and my biz partner literally just went through those same challenges. We’re also home-based donutpreneurs with zero culinary or industry background. We experienced similar scaling problems as there were practically no shared kitchens with deep fryers but we quickly learned to get creative about scaling in our home kitchens. We’re in the process of opening up a store now but that’s a whole new set of challenges. Big kudos to Makaylah for coming this far and wish you future success! Also a big thank you, Wilson, for creating this channel and sharing so much of your knowledge with us. I’m your newest subscriber! =)

I sold my business last year due to COVID. I’m in a ghost kitchen now. Best of luck!!

Thank you Makaylah and thank you, Wilson. I really appreciate this content so much, because I am experiencing some of the same things. I stopped marketing because I couldn't keep up, figuring out how to get new equipment as we speak, working out all the costs and so on. It's insane sometimes. I completely agreed when she said sometimes she felt like quitting, it can get very hard, and I am a young chef, so I totally get it. Seeing this made me want to join the community even more. I really am grateful to have seen the content. Thank you so much, guys! I related 150%

Loved this but I would have preferred just listening to her success story. Not that i didn’t want to listen to Wilson (you’re awesome) I had to forward every time just so I could listen to her story.

Where were they selling from? Where did people pick up their donuts before they had a location?

What perfect timing...I decided to build a better donut on the side and can't keep up with demand.

Online helps AI automation and consumer numbing to low service and high prices.
Mass production capacities can easily take the market as the onsite sellers is non existant and no longer important.
The iver affiliation to the online will be easy on tbe short term but cannabolizing the family and shop businesses.
