This technique is just what I need to use for a commissioned painting. I am having such a difficult time trying to use all kinds of different brushes. Thank you so very much! Lovely painting. Thanks for explaining how to did it!
Your teaching is amazing! Wish I had found you sooner! But very glad I did!!! Thank you so much for showing your process in such a clear way for who wants to learn! Many thanks!🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@AbstractART I just discovered your channel and it's wonderful! You use a lot of wide brushes..are this just hardware type brushes or official acrylic brushes? TIA
Hi - sorry for late reply: These are official acrylic brushes - super cheap on amazon / Michaels, etc. I've tried hardware types and they work but just not quite as well.
I really enjoyed this! I'm curious... Why use the glazing medium? Does it give it a special kind of effect? Does it give it more of a sheen? I've painted a lot but never used glazing medium, so now you have me curious because you use it a lot in your videos. :) As always, great painting. I enjoy watching you paint!
Hi -thanks! I love glazing medium because it really helps control the level of transparency for layers and also gives a nice sheen. It helps create a more multi-layered artwork vs. just laying down a thick coat of paint (which is fine, but not so much my own style!) :)
@@AbstractARTpaintings Thanks so much for the explanation!! I really appreciate it. And I just ordered some, because of your videos, so that I can play around with it. Have never even considered using it before, even though I've been painting for a while now. So, yay! I'm always down for trying to techniques. Thanks again!
Love your style. I went to your website to see the final technique and I'm wondering.... if you plan to photograph your art to later use for prints, should you do it before putting on this final layer that makes it look more oil like (as you do with varnish) or will it photograph fine after the final oil like layer is added.
Muchas gracias.
I enjoyed watching you! Thank you for the many very helpful tips. I will definitely implement them in my practice. Greetings Luna
Thank you so much ~ wonderful channel !

It should be fine as long as you are careful to not use flash (glare). Thanks so much 😊
It’ says it’s easy for beginners , but I found it very hard as a beginner especially toward the end details.
Thanks for trying - I guess "easy" is relative, however I do have others that may be a little simpler to start with - 101artists.com
It was a little tricky that you did not show us the last part of the painting. That was a catch

Not at all super easy. Tried 10 x and still no good.
Thanks for trying - where do you think it went wrong?
