HappyAtom has plans for wood building for the Master Sword & it’s scabbard/sheath and Hylian Shield while Chaos Core Tech only has 3D printed files for the Master Sword and it’s scabbard/sheath. I was unable to find free life size 3D plans for the Hylian Shield. Thank you
I love how you guys added the southern rock music in the video edit during parts of the building of the armor. You should do a parody video in the tradition of MAN AT ARMS: REFORGED (AWE me). Moody lighting, add CG sparks and flames as if Bill is beating and shaping foam...title it the Foam Smith!...with the southern rock music of course. Just an idea. Great work Punished Props!!

Crayon Berry I know this sounds stupid, but if you've never done it before, try cardboard. Do your best with cardboard, but don't finish with paint. If you think it turned out good, try dense craft foam. Repeat step one, if it came good, then move to your next material. Then go to (if possible) a nerf gun and use it as a base for the project. You can sculpt miliput around it to make desired shapes. It's like playdough, but it hardens to the strength of aluminum and low grade steel. If possible, go to 3D printing and 3D pen work next. That's basically as far as it goes because you can't get more accurate designs than that. Ps miliput can be put on literally anything, check it out. It's revolutionary!
So interesting to see the whole process for a set of armor from start to finish in just one video! Think it might have a strong... IMPACT for when we try cosplay again :)
And get Adams rusty bolt he built with norm too.... That would blow their minds if on the last day there would just be the bolt beeping in a glass case and l make a pretty good 'heavy'

Thumbs up for the tip about laying down the base color behind a stencil to prevent color bleed. I did a project for Christmas last year that required the use of stencils and, despite my best efforts I was unable to prevent color bleed. I had to come behind and touch it up by hand for less than perfect results.
Nice thing about Arduinos is that if you plug into the the barrel jack it can handle your 12 volts power supply and provide the needed 5 volts to the neopixel lights

I didn't even know what it would turn into at the time, but that love for making you invoked in me turned into a passion, and I am incredibly grateful. my favorite con is here in Oregon, called kumoricon. it is my favorite cuz it was my first con I went too and was so small, but its only gotten more fun as it grew over the years.

During the entire video, I just sat here and took in all the awesomeness while I work on my own cosplays for Halloween. Usually this time of year I work on stuff for MY favorite convention; Youmacon in Detroit, MI. But thanks to adulting, it'll have to wait until next year... but hey, maybe I can also make it to DragonCon next year. I hear a lot of good things about that con!
My favorite con is NärCon here in Sweden. Our cons are usually a bit different from yours and NärCon is like the epitome of our conventions: safe space for nerd to hand out and have fun together. I'd love to see you over here sometimes and every year when they send out a survey of what we want to see there I always enter Punished Props there

My favorite con is the montreal comicoon because, when you go in cosplay some cosplayer come for talk with you like you are in a family. A lot of people are so kind and when you are with your friends it's very good place for pass a good time.

The cosplay game is always on point, tons of amazing artist in the alley and the whole thing is just so organized. Some day i'll make it to DragonCon. Keep being awesome!
Great job. Tip that might help with the molten lava hot glue, wear leather driving gloves, full control, no burns even when squishing things together that are oozing glue. Comes right off the leather when cool. I keep my pair in same box as the glue gun.
My favourite Con is MCM Manchester -- it's a traditional now to go once a year with friends. While I haven't properly cosplayed in a while, each year I try and make something. A lot of failed projects, but yeah one a part of the learning curve.
Amazing timing of this video too! That cosplay smoke machine is EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED! I was trying to rig something out of a vaporizer and a 30x30 fan but was hitting roadblocks. Buying this for sure!

Thank you! The first convention is learning what fits well or needs to be modified for movement/comfort, but after that we may add more to the costume. Put in some fun code into the arduino, maybe add a helmet? We’ll see!
My favorite con is RTX (Rooster Teeth Expo) held in Austin, Texas. When I went to RTX 2017, it changed my view of cons and I have been going there for the last 3 years. I have met many friends and can't wait to see them at RTX 2020!

I love TerrifiCon the Convention we have here in Connecticut. One year I met Val Kilmer and he signed my VHS copy of Batman Forever...a movie that I actually liked.
It’s not a Con per se but my favourite costume event is Lincoln Asylum UK. It’s the worlds largest steampunk event and is the reason why i got into historical and fantasy costume design !
That looks like a very good way to make a Space Marines (Warhammer 40k) Power-Fist. Pretty awesome work. i love how the holes worked out like there are screws or bolts in there

Also when you go to the merch floor walk around the entire merch floor before you buy anything.

Most of our costumes are in storage, but we do have one costume on a mannequin and the helmets are all on display.

Love Plaid products. I use mod podge to seal everything. The gloss kind works well for water effects too, especially with the stipple method you used
Quinian's Budget Crafts If I’m making a rusty prop I use mod podge and and do his texture trick

My favorite con is RTX (Rooster Teeth Expo) held in Austin, Texas. When I went to RTX 2017, it changed my view of cons and I have been going there for the last 3 years. I have met many friends and can't wait to see them at RTX 2020!

I love TerrifiCon the Convention we have here in Connecticut. One year I met Val Kilmer and he signed my VHS copy of Batman Forever...a movie that I actually liked.

It’s not a Con per se but my favourite costume event is Lincoln Asylum UK. It’s the worlds largest steampunk event and is the reason why i got into historical and fantasy costume design !
