I had to do this from the top side, and with trimmer string like the guy said below, but thank you for that trick! I struggled yesterday and came away defeated but after watching this I got the spring reconnected within minutes. Thank you!

Most people do not have paracord laying around but they do have plenty of 0.094 trimmer string laying around and it works as well as that paracord and just pulls out after the spring is set. Great video.

Nice! I'll have to try it that way next time. I keep the paracord tied to my front left shock, that way, I always have a piece. Thanks!

I have the isx 800 and I think they're similar in the way I have to change my drive belt also. Thanks for the video. I'll probably watch it again when I do this tomorrow.

Great mower! They should be identical if I recall. Chock those wheels and block it up if possible. Be safe!

Thanks for the video, it showed some things I was wondering about. Shouldn't it be called the pump drive belt, not timing belt?

Have you remove that spindle with that timing switch? The reason I ask is because my blade belt broke and it is wrapped around it. I cut some off but I not reach the rest. Thanks for putting this video together.

I haven't had to remove any spindles or pullies. Did you get the belt off? I've used pliers and sometimes had to jack the machine up to get underneath.

@@justafarmdad I finally jack the whose mower, disconnect the cable and remove the spindle. I had to use the Milwaukee impact and 4 level to remove it. Wow, it was almost the whole dang belt was wrap in there. It is all working as it sound. Thanks again for your video.

I have the is 600 z 4 drive belts on this thing this week. The new one I just put on is bouncing like crazy I don't know what to do any thoughts

@e123rapp you may have a worn-out spindle on one of your pulleys. A bearing could be bad, or the tension rod that connects to your spring may need adjusted. Also depending on how old your blades are they could be out of balance. Do a real good exam of all moving parts and work your way to each component.
Lastly, if nothing seems to work, take to a maintenance shop.
