As much as I like Fast Eddie, "Another Perfect Day" is probably my favorite Motorhead album. There's just something about Brians' guitar style that made that album great.
Nice I like it to and I was a big lizzy fan
Man I wish I was your neighbour dude, I'm 55 years old, a musician, a music freak, all my music pals are passed and I find myself quite often missing that "come on over and listen to this" moments
we used to have. It feels like there is a huge void for sure. Nothing like the smell of a guitar case to bring back memories of such moments.
My favorite Motorhead album!
I just love the songs, and Brian Robertson is on fire with the solo's.
Listen to that intro to the title track, and how it kicks in (goosebumps).
Always loved that "back on the street" part, where the chord just hangs for a bit.
"Shine" is melodic, but still sounds like a locomotive running you over.
Brilliant Bass, drums, guitar & lyrics, throughout.
I think Another Perfect Day is now a appreciated whereas it got slammed at the time. One of my fave Motorhead tracks is Rock It. Great album.
Love this album, a couple times when I saw Motorhead they played something from this. One time Lemmy says "Does anybody here own Another Perfect Day? That was our worst selling album so we will be doing two songs from it tonight."
the motorhead record i listen to the most, EPIC 🤘fucking brian robertson smokes on this
Back at the Funny Farm. I don't know Motorhead as well as I should but I love Thin Lizzy and I had to hear him with Motorhead. That song just rips.
@@MS-ii1sv amen to that 🤘🤘🤘
Orgasmitron is the LP that got me into them in 86. Another Perfect Day is good too. The guitar tracks on here are great! Would've been interesting if Brian would've stayed.
You are right human this is the all time best Motörhead LP I seen them twice on this tour in California and got them to autograph this LP and all the 12 inch singles with robbo he is one of the all time best guitarist of all time this tour was amazing I seen it at chuck landis country club and the Hollywood palladium on sunset Blvd. 2 amazing shows I will never forget and still got those LP’S and 12 inch singles but the entire band and still got that back stage pass with a photo I took from the show what an amazing show this was but robbo was not well received at these shows they threw everything at him pennies, shoes , hats , hair brush, etc etc and the fans got into a fast Eddie chant but he played thru it all like the trooper he was and he was amazing to bad he only did this LP with them I know he showed up at some anniversary shows thru the years but nothing could compare the show he layed down with Motörhead that tour I was glad I was part of it and back stage also to get all my stuff autographed what a show --- Anthony
Dancing on your Grave is epic!
Where did you get that Wendy O Williams/Lemmy shirt? That's epic too!
This is the first new Motorhead album I bought. Excellent record.
Masterpiece
dancing on your grave always cheers up a bad day 🤘
My favorite Motörhead album is overkill
Love it. My second fave Motörhead album after Overkill.
First saw Motorhead on the Bomber tour and love the first first five albums with the classic line up but this is their most underrated album. Brilliant.
The album was really just the focal point for the fan's unrest. Robbo was the real problem. His attitude onstage was pure poison, not even noticing the fans. The 83 UK tour was cool, but I knew he wouldn't last.
By the way, the album fuckin' ROCKS !
I love Motörhead
Awesome
Hey Ralph thanks for reviewing this man
I'm looking to replace this cd I think it kicks ass as I bought it cause I was a big lizzy fan
In 81 I bought no sleep and as good as I thought it was it was pretty muddy 😄😄
King Diamond rules !!!!
Stay heavy !!!!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟
When I first listened to this album about a year ago, that melodic guitar sound caught me off guard and I enjoyed the change up very much.
Not my favorite Motörhead album all together, but a great rockin album! 🤘
Yessss
Wow
I loved Night Flight hosted by Katherine Kinnley! My cable hadn't got Mtv yet so Night Flight w/Katherine Kinnley on USA was my go to both nights, Punk night on Friday & Metal night on Saturday as I remember.
My favourite Motörhead album!
Nice shirt Ralph
Perfect Album with Brian Robertson joining them ! With Overkill & Bomber one of my 3 favorite Albums !!!
You are a good man for paying for it. I had mine stolen for me from the local South Australian library back then. Sadly don't still have it, but love it. Shma............!
Shamkleagob
Love this album, maybe it’s the one I play most these days.
Love your channel
Dr Fukk is the man of the podcast.
Killer album!
So underrated bro
It's my favorite MH album!
❣️👍🔊🤟🏻
NICE 🤘
Their best along w/bastards
This and Sacrifice rule
This is there best album, personal favourite of mine. Brian was the best guitarist they ever had, don't get me wrong Eddie, Phil and Wez are/were brilliant guitarist. But I feel Brian just had amazing unique style of play and was really technically developed, its just a shame Lemmy couldn't adapt to his perfectionist system of recording, I get why people didn't like this album. but considering its a follow up to the mess that iron fist is (it has good tracks, but also some of there worse songs, as well as worse production), just a straight master piece
Lemmy didn't like his stage attire. He dressed like he was getting ready for a tennis match.
