    I loved watching you sew, I am self taught with a little help from my sister-in-law & I have learned a ton from you! Both my grandmothers sewed but never taught me.

    Great sewing class Tamara! I do not think I could have done that jacket without. I'm not an expert sewing, just intermediate. I love this outfit and will have you helping me every step of the way. You are a natural. Thank you!

    Wonderful video! I think I am going to have to make a muslin sample of the jacket first, so I understand how to set those sleeves in properly. I’ve never made a jacket with a pattern like that.

    Are you going to make this pattern for the FR2 12.5" doll or any other new patterns for that size doll? The patterns have very limited choicess. I bought a few and am looking forward for any new ones.

      She has a lot of wonderful patterns on her website. Give it a look, and perhaps comment on her channel with your hopes for the future. She posts great videos every week.

    I've watched this video several times now, and I really wish you had shown your pressing techniques. That can be as important as the sewing. Also, I can't find a pattern anywhere for a doll-sized tailor's ham. Do you offer such a thing? Also, do you use a full sized iron or some sort of mini iron?

    • @RachelHoffmanDolls
      @RachelHoffmanDolls  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would refer to her TH-cam channel. This was one of her first videos and it was amazing for her first time. Now she uploads every week, and would love the views and feedback.

    I'm working with silk, and making a doll blouse. My challenge is finishing the seams of silk. Do you have any advice about doing that, or can you refer me to someone who's got experience with working through the process of silk garments for 11.5" dolls?

    Why is the jacket fastened on the wrong side? Ladies' garments are right over left.

    It would be nice if they would make sewing patterns for the silkstone barbie's, since there bodies are a little different.

    I sure would love to have 28 inch Barbie patterns. Do you have them?
    Also, what happened between 1:18:44 to 1:18:50? Suddenly the lining was sewed in and the collar was sewed. You lost me.

      This was one of her first videos, she does many more on her channel. Most of her patterns are for smaller dolls, but this is a fun suggestion. Be sure to check Designs by Jude's TH-cam channel and website for lots more resources!
