I'm new to Hiking and had bought this bag at a "convenience" as I had decided to buy everything I initially thought I needed for a hike from The North Face. After a few uses I started second guessing the purchase as I thought it had minimum uses and compartments. Watching this video has allowed me to see that the bag had a lot more features than I knew or could figure out. Thank you for the Video ❤

I'm sure someone has mentioned this, but there IS a hook and loop for the top of the rain cover, it's just easy to miss though, since it's folded under the elastic band in the rain cover. Very impressive that the cover stays on even without utilizing that hook though

I like this bag! Good size and perfect features. I like the rain fly that comes with it.

I liked the bag, the rain cover seems like a bag design idea but you can get another one anywhere

Yes you can get a full coverage rain cover for less than $10 on Amazon, single cover or in multi packs.

Thanks for the review, Great pack, been using it for rucking at 10kg (~22lbs), I wonder what is the max load it can carry without causing rapid wear and tear 🤔

Thanks for the first video review of this backpack. I think it will be a good daypack for my next trip.
I'm thinking of either The North Face Basin 18 or the Burton Multipath 20L Backpack. They are similar in size and appearance and I would be grateful if you could do a review on the Multipath 20L.
    Thanks, salamat and tack :)

I'm not surprised about the lose threads... my brother in law gets a 60% discount on North Face products so I've used a lot of their packs and clothes. I do a lot of outdoor sports, skiing, climbing, etc. and have found that their products just aren't durable and have a short lifespan. Even at a substantial discount, I no longer buy their stuff because it just doesn't seem to last.

Very nice presentation, thank you very much. I don t have a pass through for my water bladder which I regret. Could this be a production failure or do I have to cut a pass through myself? I have my bag since 3 years. Maybe a older model? For the rest it is completely the same as your model.

Is the small enough to be considered a personal item on airplanes?

Great bag review, but I was wondering if you'd consider doing a "family special" video - trying to do my research into what might be the ideal day/weekend out bag with the kids that can store all their bits - clothes, ipads, nappies, snacks etc as well as mine and my partners. Basically, if you were going to do a day out with the family at Disney, what bag would you pick and why?

Hi! Thanks for the quality reviews, trying to find a 18L, would you say Matador beast 18 or this Northface?

I'm actually looking between both also. Which one did you go with?

Thanks for the video. Any idea on the difference between this and the Alamere 18l backpack? They look the same, but I can't find any information on what the difference is...

Your shoes will fit-but they may monopolize the main compartment depending on their size.

Is it good for school ?

It’s a little small, but it should work great if most of your schooling is online or via a computer!
