That's such a blessing to.still be working with like 90+ % of all flights canceled! Did not realize Kentucky was home for you. I had to visit Kentucky for a business mtg years ago (Louisville) and then rented a car and went across the border into Tennessee. What a difference between night and day! The interstate was so beautiful and well manicured in Kentucky and as soon as I crossed into TN it turned bad. Of course this was back in 1989.. Perhaps things have gotten better.. Loved the people I met along the way. My favorite evening activity was parking near the Louisville airport and with binoculars and my aviation radio watching and listening to the numerous UPS aircraft arrive and depart! I read the scuttlebutt about United reducing hours from 40 to 30 for their hourly employees...and your CEO made public his opinion. Turns out they at one time worked for the same airline and then parted ways and then bitter rivals. Perhaps United violated the rules already to qualify for the relief government loan. Sometimes boys grow up just to become bigger children. Lol

If you instead think in a positive way that you'll enjoy it. Then you'll feel more apt to enjoy anything that happens. Thank you again.

Good your Flying again! I work for Hospitality, I would recommend wiping down fews things (Door knobs/light switch/ remote) as you enter the room. Stay Safe. Oh more thing. Book looks interesting from Pam Jenoff. Reminds me of another book "The Nightingale" By Kristen Hannah.
We used to call those shifts “splits”. We’d arrive at the city around 9:00 or 10:00pm and we’d leave at 6:00am the following morning. Usually we’d get 5-6 hours of sleep as long as you could fall asleep right away. We would be paid for 4 hours. (Most of these flights were short, like Toronto to Montreal).

Kentucky is pretty nice. I remember when I went there in 2015 visiting and one of the places there I've visited was paducah. Overall, in Kentucky, you'll need a car to get around.

I think I go one-step further as a coffee snub because whenever I travel by car, I actually carry my whole set: coffee maker, organic ground coffee and all natural sweet creamer, so they taste almost exactly the same as they do at home.
Hiya Kacey, i have just been watching few of your videos lately as a former flight attendant for BA here in the UK. It is interesting to see the commanality between different airlines as far a s work is concerned. What you call an ODAN we call a split duty but it works exactly the same way so i am with you on the sleep & fafigue thing. The best we had for time and money was an LHR-GVA-LHR with nearly 10 hours on the ground with a 1.30 sector. What i am curious about is the amount of different types you work on, are you on a mixed flying contract with AA? Take care and stay safe, fingers crosssed this all clears up soon everywhere and we can get back to work as we are on our 4 month of lockdown here with no end in sight. i lost my job as a crew scheduler in February so the hunt again. all the best and love the content you are putting out, reminds me of all the stories of my time as an F/A Seán.
