Spent some time at Ft. Sill. It still amazes me that the artillery can be so accurate. From the 13B's to the 13M's. When they say "shoot and move" that's exactly what they do. I asked an Artillery Gun Chief just how accurate the 8 in guns were he replied, "If everything is perfect, we can hit a paint can lid at 30 km." I also had the chance to do everything on that gun and was again amazed at the teamwork involved. Talk about "Brute Force", the Artillery certainly is just that. Thanks for the documentary Mike.

As a great fan of Napoleon, I've always had a special respect for the "god of war". The Corsican artillerist would definitely be proud of how far his branch has come in the last 200 years.

I'm an artillery veteran. We had the M107 175mm SP guns.

I thought Ukraine and russia was bad in terms of artiellery but when you look at korea, it has the highest concentration of artillery pieces in the world

Yea I would definitely rather have an American or British battalion with oh say 80-120 155MM & 150-200 105MM towed artillery than one battalion with a Gustav gun I assure you the high number of guns would obliterate the gustav position
