This is the year that I met the Kimono Team in person. And I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the development of the sauce in its earlier stages, so I can personally say that the UMAMI SAUCE is what you can truly truly call a *passion project.* It is way simpler to just make and sell a traditional Japanese cooking sauce as a merch, but this is not just a merch... it is their company's vision materialized: "for EVERYONE to enjoy the Japanese flavor around the world." That's why they challenged themselves to originally create something inclusive, regardless of dietary or religious restrictions, without compromising it's authentic Japanese taste. It took a lot of hard work to accomplish that's why they got so emotional when they've finally achieved the first step of bringing the sauce to tables across the globe. So like them, I am also looking forward to 2024 as the year they can finally spread the love for Japanese flavor to kitchens and tables around the world through the Umami Sauce.
I'm not a mother, yet, but when I become a mother, I'd be so happy if my kid says "I wanna work like you, mom!" just like what Sutan said. makes me feel so warm and happy to hear that.

I really enjoy watching your videos. When I was a kid in Los Angeles in the early 1970s my best friends were Japanese. They taught me a lot of Japanese words, but that was over 50yrs ago and I have forgotten the majority of them. After school they had to go to Japanese school and they brought their books home and that's when they would teach me some words. Hopefully you can add subtitles in English so that I can follow more easily. Thank you for these videos. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family !
