    I have bought one. Out of 9 other previous bikes I have owned.. this GSX-S1000 is the best. It’s fun, comfortable and very powerful.. they sound incredibly amazing with the stock exhaust. I don’t regret buying it because I am in love with that bike so much. Hat off to Suzuki engineer.

    Oohh...I forget 1 thing to mention......you don't have to buy an aftermarket exhaust for the sound...the sound is amazing...it doesn't sound like a new bike...the sound is brutal.and.agressive when you open the throttle. but not "too loud"....lol

    • @thihaboyz
      @thihaboyz 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      gixxerboy555 Totally agree.
      When you become agressive, the engine start to roar even with stock exhaust.
      This Bike turns into A Beast beyond RPM 8000.

    Switch to the 2020 Katana throttle tube in order to smooth out the on-off throttle response and you will be happy that you did. It is a simple switch that makes a world of difference.

    I just bought a 2016 GSX s1000 abs, and can tell you that the fueling is not that bad compared to many other bikes ive owned unless you are a ham fisted rider.
    Also once the suspension has about 1000 miles on it and you set the sag properly it really is pretty good for a stock suspension.

  • @Kingsoupturbo

    Can't wait to try this thing, the looks alone are amazing, but with that kind of power, good gravy! whats it like to ride!

  • @gixxerboy555
    @gixxerboy555 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This beauty is so easy to drive..The bike gives you soo much confidence...it's almost criminal... Suzuki created the "perfect" bike..? Just the throttle is a little brutal..but when u're a little carefull..it's no problem...I know 1 thing for sure...this will be my next..after the B-King... :)

    they did a good job on this bike, I have a 2020 model and the only criticism I have is that the throttle is a bit snatchy, not a deal breaker though

    It's a crying shame the bike suffers from fuelling issues and rides as rough as it does. The engineers should have spent more time sorting that out, rather than joy riding. This is my first and last Suzuki!

    • @flyingwaiter
      @flyingwaiter 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am planning to get this motorcycle and hence have been reading up and watching videos of it.. and I think this is the first time I see that someone has mentioned its got fuelling issues (besides a snatchy throttle) and rides rough... ! is it really that bad.. ?

    • @exothermal.sprocket
      @exothermal.sprocket 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fine. Be all huffy about it. Go to the Italians and Germans and Austrians and spend thousands more for bikes that are not worth thousands more than a Suzuki. :)
      The fueling is a SIMPLE problem to fix.

    • @markcayton6712
      @markcayton6712 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fueling has been fixed, my 2018 S1000F has no fueling problem.

  • @MotorcycleExtremist
    @MotorcycleExtremist 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'd love to see a true "Sport-touring" version of this, which unfortunately the GSX-S1000F is not.

    • @daileisu
      @daileisu 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Motorcycle Extremist it's defined as a sport roadster. I think the fairing version can be turned into solo sport touring easily. You just strap on some sort of top bag and good to go for a few day road trip. Two up is probably not a good idea but it would defeat the purpose of the fun factor. I ride FJR1300 and love it a lot but still feel heavy sometimes. The fairing bike is probably a perfect replacement for my sport touring and weekend mountain ride. Light, nimble, agile, sporty, powerful, great chassis, good brake, ABS, and traction control ( which I don't turn on for sure), and after all reasonable price. What's not to like?

    • @MotorcycleExtremist
      @MotorcycleExtremist 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      daileisu
      Suzuki is marketing the F version as "Sport-Tourer", it is not. If it were, I'd be interested. You can't take the naked version here and slap some more plastic on it and suddenly it becomes a "Sport-Tourer". What a joke.

    • @exothermal.sprocket
      @exothermal.sprocket 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just pop a mono-wheel trailer behind you and anything can sport-tour. Big windshield just means big noise around your helmet. Clean breeze is much better.

    Fuelling is not an easy fix. After several months of in and out the shop Suzuki finally authorised the replacement ECM, that only addressed part the problem. TPS had to relocated, bike needed countless engineering hours and although it finally addressed ,pst of the problem, it never fully resolved it. In the first 12months of ownership the bike spent 12 weeks in the workshop under repair. Anyone who says fuelling on a modern Superbike is an easy fix is being naive or doesn't know what their their talking about! I've had mine sorted but spent another £2,000 to do it, and it's all the better for it.

    • @markmywords791
      @markmywords791 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Spot on. The fuelling is awful and yes the newer generation ECU replacement helps but doesnt cure it. Have you stalled it and dropped it yet? Ho um, another suzuki gem there. Go test ride a BMW S1000r naked, the fuelling on that is immaculate, Suzuki has no excuse.

      @markcayton6712 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark Mywords is clearly an enemy of Suzuki. He doesn't own an S1000 and never has. My 2018 S1000F has none of the problems he's whining about. I love my bike, the best bike I've ever owned (I've been riding since the early 70's).

  • @Gee6945
    @Gee6945 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    The bike is brilliant but the fueling between 2000 rpm and 3000 rpm is nothing short of woeful. Not nearly good enough Suzuki!!!. There is a fix and it's from Woolich Racing, but this should not be neccessary. Suzuki needs to told about this sub par fueling and they should correct it. I'm told they listen.... thus far they've done nothing about mine and they don't even look like providing me with any answers.

  • @markmywords791
    @markmywords791 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is this video for fucking real? Actual owners of the bike know that it has chronically bad fuelling and we're talking the type of fuelling that feels like the fuel pump has broken. Its bad, VERY bad. Seriously folks, test ride this bike but dont just nail it everywhere, hold a steady throttle and if you can live with the sensation that the engine is broken then this is definitely the bike for you. Its awful. The brakes arent so great neither. It also has a terrible weave under hard acceleration, a turn or two of preload will dial it out but many riders are scared of changing suspension and stock settings are fucking dangerous. Terrible bike as it is. If they fix fuelling it could be a winner because it handles well. Oh, did I mention that the engine stalls a lot a low revs ie town speeds. It locks up and throws you sideways. Nice. Numerous reports of dropped bikes. Be fareful of the hype folks. Be fearful of the GSXS1000, its NOT a good bike...

      It's clear you don't actually own one, you're simply either repeating what you've heard or you're just talking smack.
      My 2018 S1000F has no fueling problem, it's very well behaved. I look forward to riding it every chance I get. I'm exceedingly happy with my purchase.
