You should use compression socks so you don’t swell as much. Also skin healing in the ankle is very sensitive. Orthopedic nurse and motorcycle rider here 😂

I think he even has a set of drill bits or taps specifically for it because it's so prone to cracking or melting. Not sure how easy the vids are to find, but they're out there somewhere lol. Anyway, hope you feel better soon man. I'm really looking forward to seeing this build get done and to see what changes you've got planned.

Dan; this is just a suggestion for the acrylic parts take the router and inlet the acrylic it will make the bond stronger. Another thing when you use a router there are different cutters for different materials and you want to make small passes it sounds dumb but it is a way to prevent kick back or blow out. Remember a router is not a saw. Now that I have finished my unsolicited advice, great job so far. Please don't rush your ankle, take the time to heal up, we will still be here.

Dan, put some 2*4's in the slots in your saw horses, then put a sacrificial piece of OSB on the 2*4's. Place whatever you're cutting on top of the OSB, set your saw depth to slightly deeper than whatever you're cutting and you'll have a much easier time cutting it. Buy a track saw, or make a simple track for your skill saw and you can get table saw quality out of your skill saw.

DAN just a little info, acrylic plexiglass is very fragile, even the thick acrylic, & it does break, & chip very very easily, But if u get lexan plexiglass its almost impossible to break & its literally bulletproof..let me know next time u need some small pieces, i work in a plexiglass shop..ur videos are awesome..
Just a tip for using router, basically it spins in one direction, so when you trim, one way will go smooth and other way not (for example clock wise will go smooth, opposite of clock won't go smooth)

Pvc boards are soft af so they scratch ding easily & acrylic is abrasive af bcuz it's plastic hard plastic so it's not very malleable when u gear acrylic think if fake nails for girls it's not at all malleable & chips way to easily

You should keep your table saw blade lower about 1/8 to 1/4 in about what your cutting. Leaves less blade exposed incase of accidents
