33:07 I really really love watching these old Nascar races a whole whole lot and I am still a big fan of Nascar for a long long time and I want to see a Nascar race a long t long time ago and I still watch Nascar greatest races I like every Nascar drivers not Kyle Busch because he wins too many races but I like his brother Kurt Busch I start watching Nascar race on my television when it first started I have been watching Nascar greatest races again and again I can't wait to see what happens when Nascar races this year
Strange situation that with Junior Johnson in 1991. Johnson and the crew chief Tim Brewer were suspended and not allowed to run #11 for two races after the Charlotte episode (NASCAR found the engine to be 361 cubes instead of 358), so they changed it to #97 and put his wife as the car owner to still be able to race. Yet while under suspension, Junior was still allowed to be listed as the car owner of Sterling Marlin's #22.
5:04:39 = What a Father's Day 1991!! It had high's, lows, laugh's, weather, animals, LITERALLY everything but the kitchen sink!! and DW winning was icing on the cake!!
Benny Parsons lost his wife Connie Parsons on the weekend of this race; he was not at the track and also did not host the NASCAR Magazine on Video Volume 3 which was dedicated to Connie's honor. Bob Jenkins hosted the video instead of Benny.
I bet the top 3 at the time of the red flag were wishing Jimmy Spencer's prediction about the rain going away was wrong. Spencer finished 14th, Ricky Rudd finished 20th and Rick Wilson finished 13th. Bobby Hillin was the other to drop out of the top 10 after the re-start going from 8th to 15th in Kyle Petty's car. Those four were replaced by Geoff Bodine (5th), Ken Schrader (7th), Serling Marlin (8th) and Derrick Cope (10th).
2:50:00 = You know, If FOX or NBC did the things that ESPN did back in the early 90's, like talking to corporate big wigs, more people would probably tune in!!
I would say Harold Kinder was the best because he would have a cigarette in his mouth and wave the green flag as the cars zipped underneath his feet. Remember Bobby Allison flying into the fence at the 1987 Winston 500 at Talladega? Allison's car flew into the fence about 100 feet shy of the bucket he was standing in. As the fence was coming apart he didn't even flinch, and whipped the red flag faster than a cowboy drawing his pistol. A year before this event, he retired after officiating the 1990 Winston 500 at Talladega due to orthopedic issues in his legs. Sadly, he passed away not long after at the age of 66. He's regarded as the only NASCAR flagman with his own fan club.

I believe this might've been the last (or one of the last) true battles, in the Earnhardt/Waltrip rivalry. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.
Aside from the ‘95 Winston All Star Race 😮

Teams back then were basically separate entities that didn’t really share that much info. I don’t even think the 22 used the same shop.
NOW I remember this, hoping it would just keep raining. It was raining all day where I lived too. A classic
30:40 explanation for the 1st caution of the race

Good grief I’ve listened to hundreds of hours of Benny Parsons without knowing he was married or lost his wife. This video is sad.
They make Petty seem like an old man. Did they forget Gant is only a couple of years younger?

What has the National Anthem or prayers have to do with auto racing.? Leave propaganda and religion out of it.
people who drive 200 miles per hour toward concrete walls get to have religion in their sport if they want to.
@TheColbalt100, Bet you “voted” for Biden, didn’t you? Hate everyone & everything? Who’s spouting propaganda?
Cobalt you're a joke
