This cover inspired my dad to learn to play take on me. He passed away recently due to cancer. Listening to this again I remember before he was ill, when he would sit down with his guitar and play this.

I just thought i could be in a hallmark movie where some troubled person hears me as an old busker on the street but the song i sing portrays his life up to then ,he says i've never seen you before and i say i've been here all the time . He then goes away and everything turns out well, later on goes back to have another chat but the busker isn't there , he asks the owner of the store he was outside and nobody knows who he is talking about , It won't happen but i'm available lol!.

Wow, this is absolutely beautiful. My friend's grandmother just passed and, I don't really process death the same way as others, because of autism. However this really hit me hard after going through what my friend did today when I was there with him waiting for the call from his mother across a couple states.
Everyone processes death in their own way , no right or wrong way , but always sad.
