I worked on this stop-motion LEGO Star Wars animation for one year. I've combined stop-motion techniques and CGI Blender 3D animation.
The recreation of this scene started from my love for the Third Episode of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. It was my childhood dream to recreate the scene in LEGO. Such an emotional moment between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan... I will eventually recreate the full version but in the distant future. For now, I already have TWO completed animations for you, which will be uploaded in a few weeks.

Yeah, people are starting to do 3d animation stop-motion a lot more now, especially with Lego. It's really awesome, because you can do huge projects without having to have a studio or a lot of parts.

Wow. That was actually insane. The expression of the characters was actually amazing, genuinely felt the emotion of Obi-Wan’s speech. Also the fire vfx was beautiful when Anakin got set on fire. Well done

@@intelteller Thanks a lot dude. It took a long time to make the textures for Charred Anakin during Summer 2022. I also made different versions of Darth Vader as well to reflect how he looked in the movies and shows. You should use the Episode 3 one I made, and I also made an alternate head for Charred Anakin that uses regular eyes since they weren't yellow during the scene. It is the head my custom Darth Vader (Episode III) uses and Darth Vader (The Clone Wars).

The amount of dedication to recreating this masterpiece is incredible. The somber music in the part of this movie kind of made me emotional as a kid but it grew to me and I understood why they had to use it as Anakin’s path to the dark side eventually becoming Vader.

Awesome video, in parts I couldn't tell if it was stop motion or animated. The part where anakin catches on fire was done amazingly!

Straight up amazing work! As I watched it, I just got so immersed into it that I forgot that I was watching a one-man show on TH-cam. The 3D elements blended really well with the stop motion footage. But in the beginning the characters were completely CG, right? 😀 I'm gonna re-watch this on my big TV.
I think that behind-the-scenes footage would be as exciting as the film itself. I'm especially curious on how you made the faces, both for the CG characters but also for the stop motion ones. The face replacement looks really good.
